Better than it’s competitors!

Great app, I’ve been using shoppix for a couple of months now and it’s great. I use a few other similar apps and Shoppix is by far the easiest to earn from. You simply snap a picture of your shopping receipts, answer a couple of questions and you earn points. Points soon add up and allow you to cash out for a range of different online vouchers or cash via Paypal. There are “scratch cards” which you’re awarded in the app too which can earn you bonus points, short surveys which also get you extra points to help you get to your goal. I’ve already earned my first payment! I used the Paypal option and the cash was in my account in less than 24 hours!
I use other similar apps, one of which is the main competitor.. I signed up to both at the same time and I reached the goal faster here than I did at the competitor (I’m still no where near the goal for the same payout!). It’s a great little app to earn a few extra pounds, simply by showing a receipt for your shopping.

Pff, what a disappointment, so after all the updates half of the receipts are being rejected, or given 30 tokens, but on top of that they PayPal payout has been removed now. Can please someone recommend me a similar app? Can’t see a point in using Shoppix anymore. Sooo after update you increased points to get £20 PayPal balance. Also there’s seems to be issue with weekly limit. Managed to reach it last week. Today is Monday, obviously new week, snapped a couple of receipts from today, and on 3rd receipt I’ve got: weekly limit reached!! What the hell?!
Progressively got worse as more and more different companies are taking over. Always seem to be reaching weekly limit for tokens, even thought I’m snapping less receipts, also there’s less surveys know, and scratch cards…
So after I hit weekly limit, I need to wait 7 days, before I can start to earn tokens again?
Also I’m trying to submit receipts during the week when I’m shopping or placing orders online.
And one more thing, you made it worse again, with the new update, I need to press camera button like 10 times before it opens up and lets me to snap a receipt, also I don’t need multiple choices to pick what I want to add, older menu was loads better, as most of the time I do use camera to snap receipts. Thank you.

In terms of our rewards, we wanted to let you know that PayPal is still an available option, however, a recent increase in token thresholds for PayPal vouchers was necessary to make more voucher types available to our members. There is no limit to the number of receipts that you can upload each week, but you will only receive tokens for the first 30 (in total) for the paper and forwarded e-receipts that you submit. The weekly cap on rewards for receipt submission operates on a rolling 7-day weekly cycle. If the total number of receipts you submit on any given day, added to the number of receipts you have submitted in the previous 7 days exceeds 30, you will reach the cap for tokens.
Each time you snap or forward a receipt, whichever day of the week it is, our system will check how many receipts you have earned tokens for in the 7 days prior to submitting that receipt. Therefore, it is possible that you could receive the weekly limit message on any day of the week, and multiple times a week.

It’s ok but .....

As someone else has said there are limits to what can be challenged when a receipt is declined. That could be improved. Also although the list of winners of the weekly draw is published I often wonder if it does actually take place. Cynical attitude on my part? Perhaps.

Communication isn’t a strong point either. That’s why I’ve reduced my star rating. They acknowledge Emails saying that a reply will be made within two weeks. Really? I’m still waiting for a response to challenges that I’ve made a month later. When a reply does eventually appear it often seems to have been written by a robot.

Talking of which, the automatic approval process is wanting. I submitted a receipt for my car service. It was approved but the business name was wrong. I challenged it on that basis & 24 hours later the receipt was declined. Why? Invalid receipt was the reason. I challenged that decision nearly a month ago. Apart from an automatic acknowledgment I heard nothing until I received a robotically written Email this week claiming they are looking into it. That’s an example of how dysfunctional the app is.
