Ratings and Reviews
Two hearing aids
The app works well and the only problem I have with it is when connected to two hearing aids. It’s fine as long as both batteries have a full charge but when one battery goes flat the connection to both aids is lost so the app cannot show which battery needs changing. I need to remove and check both batteries to find the dead one. With the old hearing aids I could send a signal to each aid separately to get an indication of how much was left in each battery.
The greatest benefit is being able to link the aids to the mobile phone. My wife is the one using the hearing aids and before getting the new aids she seldom used the phone, now she is quite happy to use it. All sounds and alarms sent by the mobile phone are now received by the hearing aids. Hearing aids are NHS issue.

Hi there, Thankyou for your review and I am sorry that you are experiencing issues. If the aids have Bluetooth there will be live battery status of your batteries in your app, and if you have wireless aids you should still have battery check beeps available for both aids in the app. Very best regards, Signia UK Tech Team
Very good … minor omission
I like the app a lot but would love it if it would remember my standard tone and volume settings when I disconnect my aids overnight. Resetting tone and volume is easy but the ability to remember would be a great help. Another small point is that the app often only shows battery level in one aid even when both are at approximately the same charge level.

Hi, thank you for your review. When your aids were set up by your Audiologist. They would have programmed your aids to your hearing loss. They app is there to help you adjust the your aids when needed and not every time you switch your aids on. You will need to contact your Audiologist and have a two way conversation and explain the changes you need make. They can fine tune your aids so you won't need to make as many changes as you are. Your other point about the battery level, we would need to know the model of your aids you have and how they are paired to the app. If you could email us on techteam.uk@signia-hearing.com with that information we can help you. Best regards Signia UK Tech Team
Bluetooth connectivity
The aids are pretty reliable except that it’s sometimes difficult to get connectivity between the left and right.
Also it would be nice to turn them off and on remotely instead of opening the battery cases where inevitably the batteries drop on the floor and roll away under the table. For people with limited mobility this would be a problem.
Also it would be nice for the frequency response to be manually tweakable as mine are very “toppy “ with no bass boost. The bass can be boosted if the ear canal is closed off with a finger!
Also when cleaning if any water gets in the tube it renders them useless. A second tube would be useful so that the earpiece can be thoroughly dried before replacement

Hi Patrick, Thankyou for taking the time to review our aids and app - we really do appreciate it. If you open your battery doors to the first click, not all the way, they will power off and will not then fall out.. you need to get your aids fine tuned by your audiologist to more closely match your needs such as tone etc. and finally, it depends on your audiologist as to what is included but it is worth asking them for a spare tube whilst you are getting your aids fine tuned by them. Very best regards Signia UK Tech Team
