SMARTY 4+

Was very good in the past.

Been with Smarty for about 3 years and up to now have been really impressed by their service and pricing. However they seem to have now turned off 4G in my area. I’ve gone from a full 4g service to 1 bar of 3G. I used the online support option and quite frankly they were rubbish. He initially told me there had never been any 4G coverage in my area. When I pressed him on this blatant untruth he then said it was down to scheduled maintenance and could be down for seven days. If it was scheduled and for such a long period of time why weren’t customers informed?

Still sat here a week later with a very limited data service and unable to contact anybody that may be able to help. I’ll give it a week, if it doesn’t improve I’ll be going elsewhere and quite frankly will be making a complaint to OfCom over the blatant dishonesty of the customer service reps.

A very frustrating experience, especially considering 3G is due to be phased out.

Was going to get a sim

Well as title found on line when looking for a new sim , I was only attracted by unlimited data what else do we look for ,but it was that only plus no speed restrictions,
I was with those people the lovely jubbly ones for years no contract just pay recurring or as you like you know the net work run by the people until the unlimited data runs out after a week ,
So I’m now trying this mob no I don’t have the sim but I registered on line have the pass word ect , down loaded the app thinking it’s going to be easier , not a bit of it trying to go through the process to log in and it’s just flashing off and on , god I don’t have the patience for this so I have deleted the app straight away ,as that’s now put me off if you have developed an app and it acts like that straight away then sorry I don’t think your service will be up to much , as your app developers , and I’m using an I phone 12 so there is nothing wrong with it
Besides i there was no facility to pay using Apple Pay on your web site, as I’m waiting for a new bank card I thought I might find on the app instead but alas no ENTRY so thanks but no thanks

Phone company is great, app is a pain

The app is brilliant - once you’re logged in. It logs you out constantly, passwords don’t work, you have to click forgot my password (even though you haven’t, or were never given one), to get a link which frequently just returns you to the same log in screen where it asks for the non existent password again. Sometimes I hit lucky and actually log in and then the dashboard is great. But it drives me mad that the app is on the phone I use, I only ever log in on that, and yet it cannot seem to remember me or the device. Sort out this aspect, get rid of the constant logging out so I can actually see how much data I’ve used without all this hassle and it would be great.
