I had a very professional experience and prompt help with this platform.The bookings were straight forward, however it took a day or two to know which company my ride had been assigned. I also had a booking cancelled but they sent an alternative very quickly.It’s just a little confusing as some companies only took cash and there’s no option for me to have the payment option stated on my requirements from begging to end, so I had to call and cancel the alternative they suggested as I was on location and without access to bank.Also, there’s no option for me to amend my booking other than calling the customer services, which could be better and faster with an online option...There’s also a price variation to the same route in less than a week which I didn’t understand. Taxicode says the price is given to them by the companies and didn’t take responsibility.Other than that I would recommend the platform, they offer a price range for a more economic ride to a luxury experience. They also have an array of reliable companies, from start ups to more established ones.

This is their cancellation policy - NB, once booked, you can’t amend, you have to cancel:7.1. Cancellations must be made by you using our website. You will be entitled to a refund, depending on when you cancel your Booking, as follows: (i) If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to the Journey date in your Booking, you will be entitled to a refund equivalent to 55% of the value of your booking. (ii) If you cancel your booking between 11 days to 30 days prior to the Journey date in your Booking, you will be entitled to a refund equivalent to 25% of the value of your booking. (iii) If you cancel your booking between 2 days to 10 days prior to the Journey date in your Booking, you will be entitled to a refund equivalent to 10% of the value of your booking. (iii) If you cancel your booking on the same day or the day before to the Journey date in your Booking, you will not be entitled to any refund. In the event you cancel your booking directly with the transport provider, we will email you asking you to confirm your cancellation. You will need to confirm your cancellation using the links sent to you in the email.7.2. Customer(s) who paid a deposit will be refunded or charged depending on the amount due as per condition 7.1.7.3. At Taxicode’s discretion, a cancellation charge may be refunded on the basis that You re-book within 24 (Twenty Four) hours, minus a £15 (Fifteen Pounds) administration charge. Only once the Journey is re-booked, the refund can be processed. However, Taxicode reserves the right to refuse a cancellation refund at any time.

We booked a trip for the airport from a small town for 3:30 am Sunday for a very early flight. We received an email confirming the payment and the booking, but have not received the driver confirmation email. Fearing that they will just cancel last minute, we phoned the customer service.We had to call twice before our call was picked up, at 5pm Saturday. The line was very bad with loads of background noise. The customer service said not to worry, that they have already found a driver, and that they will send a confirmation email within a couple of hours.After returning back from dinner later that evening, we checked the email again, but the confirmation email still hadn't come through. We phoned again, but we could not get through (this was between 9 and 10 pm on Saturday). As they said they found a driver earlier, we went to sleep. When we woke up, we found a cancellation email that was sent at 2am, saying they couldn't find a driver. By sheer luck, we were able to find someone to drive us to the airport on time.If I book a taxi ahead, it's because I want to be sure that it's going to be available and on time. Especially during a pandemic with scarce flights, we would have been in a very bad situation had we missed the flight. I do not know if they outright lied, or if they had someone cancel on them, but as we never received a written confirmation, I am inclined to believe that they just lied to a customer. They did not provide the service needed.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Total rip off. Me, my wife and 2 year old son were going away from Heathrow air port so I booked a taxi from these from the train station to our hotel. Sent my request in with all the information and the bigest thing a book the taxi with this company was I was told ‘when I rang before booking’ if I request a car seat they can provide one. As with a 2 year old need him to be safe. The taxi turned up with no car seat, said to the drive we asked/need a car seat and he said u need to ring up and they will sort it and then he just drove off and left us stranded in London. So I rang and I was told car seats are not compulsory ‘but was told before I booked that if I asked they would make sure we got one’ and after nearly a hour on the phone with them was told they can’t help me and I would just have to find another taxi myself and make my own way there!! It’s was a total joke of a company and very poor customer service. Also tried to email and only had a generic email back and still trying to get a refund. SO PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS RIP OFF OF A COMPANY!
