Fast 800

The App is easy to use. There is a whole week of recipes which when chosen create a shopping list. This and the recipes can be printed out. It is easy to update weight and stats. It is easy to plan ahead with the next week accessible for possible recipes. The profile section allows to choose from a variety of eating plans like fasting 2 days or more or no fasting days. Recipes can be swapped easily to suit any day. There is help from nutritionists and community chat too.
The one thing I found a little annoying was swapping meals quite a lot because of dairy allergy. I would have preferred to be able to edit this in my profile to enable me to Not be offered meals containing dairy in the weekly suggested meals. Because of this I am having to swap and search for dairy alternatives quite a lot. There is a filter to help with this but for me would have preferred a more suitable meal suggestions and not have to swap continuously.

Best diet plan there is

As someone who has tried every diet under the sun this is by far the best one there is. The science and knowledge explains everything so well, so in addition to the motivation of losing weight I felt really motivated to become healthier and hopefully live longer. I didn’t realise how much of a sugar addiction I have and I didn’t think I would ever break out of the trap and vicious circle of yo-yo dieting but I finally have. I do still have the occasional treat but am far more discerning about whether it’s worth it and I completely avoid ultra processed food now.

In terms of the diet itself, it really worked for me having meals planned out with the shopping list of everything I needed for the week as it stopped me buying unnecessary treats and overeating. The exercises were great, easy to follow and not too long so could fit them in my busy life!

I am so grateful to Michael Mosley and the team at Fast 800 - thank you for such a fantastic plan that has honestly helped me turn my life around.

Much more convenient

I use the app every day to cook my meals and do my exercises and it is so more easier and quicker than using the website. Being able to check a shopping list in store or looking up a recipe on the move is useful.

It is a mirror of the website so no app-only bells and whistles added.

I was hoping for some new features - such as being able to mark recipes you do not wish to see again (i.e the opposite of the favourite button!) or having a section to add personal notes. Fingers crossed for future releases.
