Virgin Atlantic 4+

When I started using this app in July 2023 it was brilliant. Would update itself daily and I had no problem viewing my itinerary but now, I can’t do all that. I have to shut it completely and load to see updated information like countdown to check in but I can’t even see my itinerary at all. I keep getting message “updating itinerary” and the circle goes round and round and if I don’t close the app, it can go on all day. Thats not on!! Someone do something! This makes Virgin look like a budget airline.

Awful app when trying to load and amend any information. Had to reload the app about 10 times to try and do anything, got so annoyed I just gave up in the end. Guess I’ll have to try and now call customer services and waste even more of my time 🤦🏼‍♂️

Wouldn’t let you pay for an upgrade either and would only give you the option to bid for upper class. Kinda pointless as this gives you no guarantee meaning you have to then risk waiting until you get to the airport to upgrade.

App is slow, takes forever to load and then freezes meaning you have to close the app, and start from scratch!

Unlucky Virgin! Missed out on money…I’ll defo fly British Airways again next time I fly as their premium is also SO much nicer than Virgin. Even down to the blankets and pillows, you get better quality in BA Economy than what you get premium with Virgin. Virgin definitely has a ‘Cheap’ quality of products etc compared to what you get with British Airways - Even down to the hand soap in the toilets. BA had White Company products, a lovely material pack with eye mask, socks, lip balm…the full works. Virgin you get a crap paper wallet with really cheap quality stuff.

I might even cancel my return flight and book one with BA..🤷🏼‍♂️ Would definitely make for a nicer return flight home that’s for sure. Think I’d only fly Virgin as a last resort and if it was the only flight left available

This is my first review that I've written, there seemed to be so many bad reviews about this app I felt I should say my bit. They have updated this app since a lot of these reviews were written and I experienced none of the most popular complaints
This app did everything I needed it to do, I could log into my account, clearly see all my details and easily navigate my way around, I booked a flight with no issues or crashes, it was a quick simple process. It still needs to have a few more options but in time they will come I'm sure. I gave it 4 not 5 stars because it still needs a little more work to be fully up to speed, but this app will do what you expect it to do.
