Trouble_since_1983 ,

Too basic

Out of all the UK Banks that I transact with online, the YONO SBI UK app has to be the least impressive of the lot. It is just too basic and has been like that for years now. A part of me has been hoping for a long time that SBI will finally invest in upgrading this app, but I guess that’s wishful thinking. I hope
a day will arrive before me closing this account where I can see the following:
- Face ID enabled login. This is no longer a nice to have, rather almost a compulsion. I must admit though, the MPIN option thankfully is the next best thing to Face ID enabled login
- Ability to check latest Interest Rate. With changing interest rates, it will be extremely beneficial to see the latest rate of interest being provided by SBI
- Joint account details. Once logged in, the all should be able to display details of Joint Account holder
- Overall user experience. This app needs to go a long way to make it easier for users to navigate and get transactions done quicker
- Messaging service. A formal mechanism to raise complains or issues using chat / message in the app will be appreciated

Someday hopefully we will get all these features.

Insufficient information

I have this app which seems to let me know my balance on my savings account but I am unable to see the movement details in the account . This seems to be missing basic information! Maybe there is a way but I have not found it yet. Could the ap incorporate this basic information too?

Session timeout - This is got resolved 👍

This is got resolved and I was able to use the app. Therefore I am changing the rating to 5 starts .

Steps I followed:-
1. The initial screen does not have a Login button. There are only two buttons seen. First one is “Register”. The second one is “New Customer”. Only “Register” button is active. I clicked on the Register button to try to Login to my account.
2. Once you click the “Register” button, the next screen asks for “Customer ID” or “Account Number”. I entered my Customer IF and proceeded to the next screen
3. Next screen asks for “Used ID” and password. I entered it and then it asks to enter the OTP I received.
4. At this point I get Session Timeout
5. If I again try to renter my User ID and password, I get error message - “This User and Device does not match. Request you to use your registered device”.
That’s it. Rubbish App 😡
