Okay I am using this a lot and I have some problems that aren’t fixable but are just a bit annoying: so ads... ...I can understand the money side of it and it doesn’t ruin my vibe to much so I’ll let it slide... ...Premium pros and cons... ...ok this is my main ‘problem’ and I’ll give you a list on what pros and cons are to me... Pros: Can listen to music whilst locked and off the app. No ads. 1 month free. Very little for a month. Cons: Can’t really have it after a month as I’m a child. If you don’t have you have to adapt to it. So it isn’t that much of a bad thing it’s actually sounds quite worth it I guess it COULD only SEEM like it’s a bad idea or I just can’t think of anything bad about it or I’m just exaggerating everything so anyway on to the next one! Haha just kidding no more points from me now so to the conclusion! So this app is not bad at all that’s why I’m giving it a 5 star as it’s the best one I have found so far! So to finish I’ll give you some tips on how to adapt to the non premium life! Tip 1: Turn the lightness all the way down and turn on low power mode(so you can vibe longer!) Tip 2: I get it ads are annoying but just deal with it and you get used to it idk. So good app!
Love it but far from where it needs to be!

I love YT music more than any other music streaming service, simply because there is way more music on here than others. However, I’ve noticed some things in the app that needed a bit of improvement. For example, if I lose data in a bad service area, and the song I’m playing has been downloaded, it should automatically keep playing. It’s kind of annoying that I have to wait for the app to finally recognise that I’ve lost data, and then it finally says to ‘take me to my downloads’ where I have to play the song from the beginning. I also think the layout needed some general improvements, it’s a bit slow sometimes and it could be a lot sleeker as right now it’s a bit clunky. Hire an app designer asap! Because there’s a lot of potential for it. Also when I want to add a song to a playlist, there are way too many options. Most people either want to add songs to playlists, to a queue or share with friends…. I think if the app visually looked nicer that would help though. Anyways for me the money monthly is worth it just for the vast range of songs, but I get why it isn’t for some people. Other streaming services are way ahead in other ways.
5* app but NOTIFY WHEN A SONG BECOMES UNAVAILABLE

I love the app been putting it on to everyone for years, can’t get the range of music anywhere else!! HOWEVER add a setting so you can choose to be notified when a song or album in our playlist/downloads is removed… j.cole yours truly got removed after being in my downloads & playlists for years since i got the app… it’s still available just had to add to playlists or download each song individually from videos but i had to scroll to the album or the playlist to see it was no longer available. Also, please make it so i can add 1 song to multiple playlists when clicking add to playlist as i find doing the process repeatedly can become long esp when you’re looking at a specific artists songs for example, you will forget which one of the multiple tracks you have just added.
I like it but here are some issues…

Personally, I really like this app, great music and all; easy to use. But my one problem is my quick picks. It seems that the algorithm for my quick picks is only trying to cater to the majority and what’s perceived “popular” currently, even though I’ve shown no interest in the music and have actively made sure to dislike songs like that and tap the “I’m not interested” button. I think that the algorithm should instead cater to each individual’s tastes, rather than random songs that I don’t care about nor want to listen to. It’s honestly annoying. Also, on my previous account, my speed dial would randomly generate itself with songs I liked. It no longer does that, therefore I have to set up to 6 songs onto it, but the cue after each song is always the same songs, so I’m no longer able to “explore” different music that may appear in the cue. If you could try and fix the “quick picks” issue I had mentioned, it would be greatly appreciated, however it may be out of the developers’ control.
