Description

The mylife App lets you manage your diabetes discreetly anywhere and anytime. Regardless of whether you are a pump or a pen user, your insulin and glucose data is available at a glance in one app on your smartphone. Use the Apple Watch to review your CGM value, your glucose trend and to acknowledge CGM alerts.

The mylife App connects and imports therapy data from the following devices via Bluetooth:
mylife YpsoPump insulin pump
Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System*
mylife Unio Neva, mylife Unio Cara, mylife Aveo blood glucose meters**

Pump users benefit from discreet and convenient bolus delivery from the smartphone (standard, extended and combination bolus; only available with compatible pumps). The app offers an intuitive bolus suggestion calculator with integrated insulin on board function. Values imported from above devices may be used for bolus suggestion calculations and to support therapy decisions.

Therapy documentation becomes a matter of ease. Choose to synchronise your therapy data with the mylife Cloud for access anywhere and anytime, and share** data with your healthcare professional. With a connected Dexcom G6*, you can upload your CGM data to Dexcom CLARITY.

Data entry, logbook and practical statistics support you in your therapy management. The PDF/CSV report function lets you export your data and share them with your healthcare professional.

Important: carefully read the instructions for use and discuss settings and use of the bolus suggestion calculator with your healthcare professional before using it.

The mylife App may require access to Bluetooth, notifications, storage, camera and photo library to provide its full functionality.

app has been great but old phone is broken and app won’t let me sign in with new phone

I have had the app since around 10th of december and it has worked perfectly until my old phone that i used it on’s screen had broken. I have recently been trying to transfer all my data on to my new phone however the old phone has not been backed up in months so i have to manually download and log into every app. I have had a lot of difficulties trying to log back into this app particularly, which i heavily rely on as a person with T1D. I have recently changed my password using my email (on this apple account) as the app kept saying “Your credentials are wrong.” but after i changed my password and tried using my new one it still keeps saying that my credentials are wrong. i have used the password i recently created over 10 times to ensure i didn’t put it in wrong, however it still says my credentials are wrong… this is also not the only time i have tried to reset it and it hasn’t let me log in each time i have changed the password. Please could you allow me to sign into my account so i can start using the app again because i am running out of testing strips and would appreciate being able to use the app again, if not that is okay as i can re-enter my details but it would be a lot faster and easier if this problem could be fixed now or next time, so other people don’t have to deal with this problem

Brilliant much better and in control daily

My son moved to this app and meter from another brand with no app. Since switching we find the hole process so much easier. No major glitches other than the PdF export tab which I was told by the helpline the developers are fixing for the next update. The app and easy graphics and graphs make the patient (and their family) more in control of the weekly or monthly patterns. Before this dAta was only for a consultant to see a few times a year... now we have a chance to improve correct and learn every day. We are sticking to it and recommend when used with their monitor and using pens.

Mylife App, Ypso pump and Unio Neva

Moving from a pump that you could take insulin by Bluetooth instruction, this system is frustrating as you have to get the pump out everytime you want to take a bolus. If you could give bolus via the mylife app it would be so much easier. At the moment you need 3 machines out: the Unio Neva blood testing machine, your pump and your phone to do your therapy.
The Bluetooth connection between the Uni Neva and the My Life app are often very slow - the rep said ‘it can take up to a minute’, this is a long time to wait when you are waiting for a bolus calculation. If you enter it yourself then it is repeated in the log and gets confusing.
The app if very good looking and produces good info for the doctors if you enter all your carb etc.
But sadly the app is now freezing with ‘general error occurred’ when I go to the log book. You have to hit ok 50 times before it appears. Sometimes it doesn’t come up at all. I often want to add carb later that I’ve eaten earlier in the day and need to check times on the log first. Also looking back to check when I last changed my cannula is really important. The tech support say this is not possible to fix at the moment until the next year upgrade of software. Not funny.
If these Bluetooth and errors are fixed then it is great.
