MapAlerter has been completely redeveloped. Apart from Council alerts, the MapAlerter app now allows you to browse additional information such as road temperature sensors, river height sensors, severe weather updates, the property price register and more. The new interactive mapping feature is easy to use and offers better mapped information for your local area. Push notifications are issued for a variety of topics, including Level Yellow, Orange and Red severe weather warnings for your county. Sensor maps are also available for road temperatures and river heights across Ireland.

This is a major upgrade to the MapAlerter App. It represents a complete rewrite from all earlier versions with lots of new exciting features. Perhaps the most eye catching is the new augmented reality planning viewer that allows you to view recent planning applications in your proximity by holding up your device - see the app screenshot. The MapAlerter development team has also put huge emphasis on the Push Notification feature. Alerts will now deliver for all categories and can now include images, embedded web content, videos and more. The very-popular weekly planning email will now be delivered to MapAlerter app users in an intuitive way. Usability is also greatly improved compared to the earlier MapAlerter app. Maps are all neatly designed with a new colour scheme to reflect the MapAlerter brand. Location/address searching is also greatly improved across all map screens. A new screen exists outlining how to receive alerts and how to use the MapAlerter Planning Viewer (augmented reality feature). The App is now optimized for larger screens, including iPads. App is not compatible with iOS 9 devices (ATS/SSL compatibility resolved).
