Next Bus Dublin uses the Dublin Bus realtime information system to tell you exactly when your bus is arriving. No more guessing using fictional timetables! The app is packed with useful features, looks great and is easy to use.

Good but could be better
The app needs more accurate times so instead of saying due when the bus is 3-4 minutes late,the other day I thought I missed a bus but I actually didn’t because it was late so it could rally use that info.
No REAL time information is accurate
Supposedly the buses have GPS so I don’t understand what is so hard. It doesn’t even work for the rare x buses that run 6 times a day. Even when you take it from the first stop. A lot of ghost buses. This is unacceptable especially considering there is the option to mark bus as cancelled. This app is appallingly bad and Dublin bus service echoes that. I would have to fill complaint form every time I’m going into the office to keep up with all the problems. It’s especially bad for the X buses which don’t run every 10 or 15 minutes. The one I take only runs 3 time in the AM and 3 times in the PM. Ridiculous!
Works way better than the others
The app works great and the layout and customisation is excellent.
My only complaint would be that the contrast between the dark blue/grey text and the black background makes it quite difficult to see the text.
