The TFI Go App allows you to buy tickets for participating Transport for Ireland bus services and participating commercial bus operators directly from your phone. Your ticket is downloaded to the TFI Go App and can be used to travel straight away. There’s no need for printing, simply activate your ticket before each journey and show it to the driver while boarding. To avail of discounted Young Adult and Student fares a valid TFI Young Adult or Student Leap Card must be shown to the driver when boarding. Features: • Single, two Journey and ten Journey tickets available for Adults and Young Adults and Students • One day and seven-day zonal tickets available in cities. • Search for a ticket between your origin and destination, or choose the zone you are travelling in. • Buy and download tickets directly to your phone. • Save a payment card for faster future purchases. • Tickets valid for use up to 28 days after purchase. • Search for and save your favourite Operators.

Convenient but has bugs

Signs me out of my account every 2 days which is very annoying, and there’s no option to bulk-buy single-use tickets, and if you buy tickets without waiting 60 seconds after each purchase, your next purchase fails, so basically buying 10 tickets takes 10 minutes.

Great App; Needs Improvements

My only critique of the app is that it can be a fairly frustrating at times because it would abruptly log me out, albeit still being able to see the app as if I was logged in normally, preventing me from activating my ticket. Thankfully, I have never missed this bus in this manner, but my peers who also take the bus to and from university seem to have the same issue. It's not a nice experience having your bus pull up and you panicking attempting to activate your ticket, while not able to figure out the issue. If you're having difficulties loading your purchased ticket (when it infinitely loads not activating it), I'd suggest signing out or restarting your phone to force the app to reload. Although you will be prompted to log back into the app, this has worked for me thus far. Hopefully this might save a few people from missing the bus.

Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star at all, I recently bought 45 euro worth of tickets and it randomly started logging me out every 2 days no I can’t even get into the app now I keep putting my email in and it says it’s wrong(which it’s not) I try changing my password cause it’s the only option, I put my email in for the verification and it says I don’t have an acc for this email. DO NOT DOWNLOAD AT ALL not worth it, they should honestly just delete this stupid app, not worth the hassle. I’ve lost 45 euro because of this app and I can’t get it back

This app is so frustrating as it will sign me out abruptly every day or 2, there should be a remember me option when you sign in so this does not happen.Ive had tickets bought that have disappeared hours later without being activated despite receiving an email of my purchase.Not only that but the app is incredibly slow so buying a ticket is tedious, I have missed buses due to these factors
