It’s just a revamped version of old app, the app is buggy though. I had to try multiple time to get registered!!
But important features are missing. Just like the old app, PPF account, which was created earlier cannot be viewed in the app. There’s only one option to open a new PPF account though the app, which is very non useful for users who have existing PPF account.

Just as usual, another indian app that is example of why you should either hire professionals to make your app or shouldn’t even bother with making apps. Stupid things that don’t make sense at all. For example, while adding a beneficiary, first of all, there is an option to choose whether the account is within Bank of India or other bank and that is stupid because as soon as you choose other bank option, it will erase the whole form and why is there a need to have boi account? Are you too stupid to identify your own accounts? And then when you completely fill out the form and click on add beneficiary, it will ask for OTP and then your pin and then it will tell you that the amount allowed isn’t in range. Couldn’t you have told that earlier? couldn’t you have told it before asking for OTP? Couldn’t you have mentioned the limit in the form itself? By all this, you can understand how this app clearly wasn’t made from people who have adequate reasoning skills.

I would like to provide some constructive feedback on the National Bank of India (BOI) iOS app. While I understand that creating a flawless app is challenging, there are some issues that significantly impact user experience.

Firstly, the login process is incredibly frustrating. The app constantly sends SMS verification without recognizing when they’ve been entered, resulting in a loop of verification attempts. This undermines the app’s functionality and makes it difficult for users to access their accounts efficiently.

I suggest that if the app is still in the testing phase, it should not be published on the App Store until these issues are resolved. It’s better to delay the release and provide a polished, functional app rather than offering one that frustrates users.

As a customer of a well-recognized national bank, I expect a higher standard of quality from the app. There are numerous talented developers in the country who could potentially improve the app’s performance and user experience.

In conclusion, I urge the development team to prioritize fixing these issues to ensure a smoother and more user-friendly experience for all BOI app users.
