Thumps Up to Cityflo - But thumps down for its mobile APP

I am using Cityflo Mobile App for my office travel since last 2 years. My appreciation for the whole team for making our office travel safe and smooth. However problem which is yet not solved is the Mobile App which gets crashes very frequently with IOS. In 24 hours - It works only during late night after 7-8 pm and remains time it shows error and doesn’t open. So you can’t use at another time. If you book the ticket earlier and want to cancel it before travel you can’t do it. Or if you want to book your ride in day time for evening ride, you can’t book it because it’s in crashed mode. It should be sorted out asap.

I had a frustrating experience with CityFlowBus due to a lack of clarity and flexibility in their service.Firstly, there is no proper guidance on what a passenger should do if they miss their bus at the selected stop. In my case, after missing my bus, I went to the next stop listed in the app assuming I could catch it there. However, the bus passed by without stopping. When I contacted customer support, I was told that the bus only halts at stops where passengers have bookings, and since no one had booked from that stop, it didn’t stop there.This is quite confusing because the app displays a sequence of stops, which naturally gives the impression that the bus will stop at each one. There is no indication that certain stops are conditional or will be skipped if there are no bookings. If that’s how the system works, it should be clearly communicated in the app so passengers know what to expect. Otherwise, if someone misses their bus, there is no clear alternative or backup option to catch it at the next stop.Secondly, the booking system is quite restrictive. There is no option to book a single ride—I am required to purchase a package every time. This lack of flexibility makes the service less user-friendly, especially for occasional users who may only need a one-time ride.Overall, CityFlowBus needs to improve transparency in its stop system and offer more flexible booking options to make the experience more reliable and commuter-friendly.
A great service, if you get a seat

I have been using Cityflo for many years now. It is in of the good options that has come up to help travellers get to work at a reasonable fare with good comfort and systems. However off late getting a seat in the bus is more difficult than booking a train ticket from the irctc site.You have to relentlessly be glued to the app to see when a seat opens up and that too you will be able to if you are faster than your competitors.So unless there are more buses introduced one cannot rely on the services for the long term.As mentioned earlier it’s a great service with good management, but at the end of the day a seat on the bus matters the most.

App functions decently most of the times except for the times between 8am till approx 11 and then again slugs during evening rush hours. Have taken their service multiple times before but this time I had to cancel because of it being declared work from home for today and tomorrow’s ride. When I went to app to cancel my 2 rides which were free because I referred someone who bought a pass. I didn’t get to cancel as when I clicked cancel it did not show up in scheduled rides but then later as soon as I refreshed it came again. I called their customer service and they said it can only be cancelled via app and they won’t be able to change my booking to another day. So basically Cityflo just treating free rides without flexibility even before cancelling before the cancellation period. My today’s and tomorrows ride is into vein now.
We’ve been quietly fine-tuning things under the hood — no big reveals this time, just a smoother ride all around.
A few pesky bugs? Gone.
Random hiccups? Handled.
Overall vibe? Much more “nice” and way less “why though?”
