I purchased an iWatch under this scheme, but it has been a complete ordeal. Despite adhering to all guidelines, I still haven’t received what was promised. HDFC ERGO seems more focused on avoiding its commitments than on resolving customer issues.I strongly advise against purchasing any product, particularly an iWatch, under this scheme. The lack of transparency and customer service is unacceptable. I am now considering legal action and urge others to do the same if they face similar challenges. HDFC ERGO and Zooper took a cut into the sales of the Apple Watches through the India get moving initiative where people bought watches and at times buying watches which were more expensive as it did have a way to earn back 100% of it. It let to increase in sales at Apple where Zooper and HDFC EGRO also profited. Further when the time came to pay those claims for 1 month of the payment, HDFCERGO mass rejected the claims to the tune of 80-90% percent without providing any specifics and on its own unilateral decision. I did an average of 15,300 steps in January and 15,532 steps in December but my claim was also denied with no further information provided. The customer support does not help and just using everything in their might to deny the actual claims. If they do not come clean and provide enough data on which ground the claim was rejected, or provide the claimed amount, HDFC lost me as a customer for sure for life. And I’m probably the top 5% of actual income taxpayers in India so you might have just lost a considerable business.

I am extremely disappointed with the "here by HDFC ERGO" app and their "India Gets Moving" program. I purchased an Apple Watch specifically through this program, enticed by their promise of a full refund (via 12 monthly installments) upon achieving a daily step count of 15,000 for 12 months. This turned out to be a complete scam.After diligently meeting the step count requirement for the entire period, my policy was abruptly terminated without a valid reason or proper explanation. I, along with what appears to be thousands of others, have been left high and dry. HDFC ERGO rejected my claim, citing vague, system-generated reasons that lacked any substance. It's clear they never intended to honor their commitment.I strongly advise against purchasing any insurance product from HDFC ERGO. This experience has shown me that they are untrustworthy and operate with deceptive practices. You risk losing your hard-earned money, as they seem to readily reject claims with flimsy excuses. Don't fall for their misleading marketing like I did. Stay away from HDFC ERGO!
