Don’t overdo. Just be Whatsapp that was

Dear Whatsapp Team, WhatsApp has been the most useful yet simplest app that I have ever seen. However, in recent times the so called “innovative features” are starting to make the product fancy but less useful. Especially the recent update of swipe up to talk is utter waste and very confusing for majority of the elderly audience. Also, a regular action like a swipe is not needed for a rare activity like voice chat. Moreover, there would be many groups where initiating a voice chat by mistake would cause trouble and unnecessary disturbance. And as you would know with all new features come all the more bugs. For the first time ever users are noticing evident bugs in WhatsApp. Which was never the case earlier. With great admiration, respect and love for the product I suggest, recommend and request you to consider shelving some of these unnecessary but “cool” features and keep WhatsApp as it always was. Simple yet the most efficient

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this service. I have been trying to receive my WhatsApp verification OTP for the last 6 days, but I have still not received it. Because of this issue, I am completely stuck and unable to use WhatsApp, which is affecting both my personal and work life very badly.I have tried everything possible from my side — changing network, restarting my phone, reinstalling the app, waiting patiently, and following all instructions — but nothing has worked. There is no proper support, no clear guidance, and no real solution provided. It feels like users are left helpless.Now I am being told that the OTP might arrive after 48 hours, which is extremely frustrating. Because of this delay, I am unable to do my work, communicate with clients, or manage important tasks. This has caused me a lot of mental stress and inconvenience.Such a basic feature like OTP verification should work smoothly, but unfortunately, the service quality is very poor and careless. This kind of experience is unacceptable for an app/service that is used globally by millions of people.Overall, this has been a very bad and disappointing experience. I would give 0 rating if possible. Please improve your system and customer support so users do not have to suffer like this.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this service. I have been trying to receive my WhatsApp verification OTP for the last 6 days, but I have still not received it. Actually it i mean updates come all of sudden without any prior notice about the changes proposed to be implemented n the exact reasons n circumstances under which it becoming unavoidable to have updated the existing version being used at present so it becomes miserable n doubtful what is the agenda behind if you are actually anxious about welfare of your users or it is proposed to be updated only for your business interests which common user never knows what the threats he is facing day to day in terms of his privacy n data security like all other applications available on web in name of free but what the cost he is paying actually heavily being watched, heard, compromised all personal informations n followed in all the activities of his life. This way,professional integrity of even popular social media platforms becomes doubtful. You can understand my concern easily because all the practices being undertaken n in practice in electronic field are now going well known to each n every individual n that day is not more distant now that all such practices would be prosecuted heavily by the masses before the court of law, anyway carry on your monopoly till the time allows u, good luck friend

Whatsapp is crashing constantly. I have been trying to open the app for quite a few days now. I have tried shutting down and restarting my phone, offloading and reloading the app, opening whatsapp with better internet connectivity, reset all my settings, reset network settings, updating whatsapp, updating ios to the latest version. Nothing seems to work. There’s still a lot of storage in my phone Whatsapp is crashing constantly. I have been trying to open the app for quite a few days now. I have tried shutting down and restarting my phone, offloading and reloading the app, opening whatsapp with better internet connectivity, reset all my settings, reset network settings, updating whatsapp, updating ios to the latest version. Nothing seems to work. There’s still a lot of storage in my phone so I know it’s not a storage problem. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it but it’s not working . A few days ago, there was an ios update to 17.0.2. Whatsapp worked for three days after that it has stopped working completely . I also tried updating current software(17.0.3) but it’s not working . I even raised tickets from WhatsApp but it doesn’t work . I am using iPhone XR
