The worst banking app

Verification takes long and sometimes will lock your account and you have to call customer service for them to unlock which will take another 48 hours!This can’t be happening when you have an emergency and need to withdraw money.This problem has been around for a while and hasn’t been fixed. Just switch to another bank.

Erroneous selection of number

At time the mobile banking decides to select a random number on the phonebook different from what one has selected and as a result money is sent to a different number leading to a lot of inconvenience the name check feature does not always work for all numbers.

The name checks works for numbers that have ever received funds from our data base, we continue to better our system.

Contact selection bug

When selecting a contact to send money to, you open the app, go to mobile money and search for a contact (say by name). You get the names that match and select the contact you want to send money to. The app select a different contact. This happens randomly depending on the contact name. I have sent money to wrong contacts severally and can replay the bug. Did an email to the bank concerning this which was ignored. 👎🏽

Otp number

The app as I’ve read from comments has an issue when it comes to the otp number that was a year ago One year down the line it still doesn’t work sends the otp number almost 5 minutes later past it’s valid time and when you call customer support they tell you that your phone is the issue and not their app I was at a counter was utterly embarrassed because I had to return everything cause the otp wasn’t working such a big brand like this only to have mediocre service Might as well just close my account
