Despite sending numerous feedback via official email channel, they just diplomatically reply “thank you for your feedback”. The bank seems not concern about the users safety and security. It’s awkward displaying the credit balance while using the apps to do payment near the merchant POS. How could the apps put the user at such unnecessary security risk?!

Please! We need options to hide the credit balance on the screen !!!

Despite it being a wallet, it does not function as a wallet at all. I have topped up using FPX via two different banks, the money was deducted from my bank account, but the amount is not displayed into the app. I went to customer service and they mentioned that this may take up to 24hours to complete.

I was trying to top up to get out of the car park and can you imagine the queue that I had built up because of this?! A wallet is supposed to be instant. Then I had to physically park the car, go down to customer service to clarify, and then go to the cashier counter to physically top up with cash!

I scanned and pay using this app and the cashier didn’t receive their payment on their end while my account had already been deducted.

The supervisor convince me to use the card that is attached to the eWallet to swipe for a second transaction and convinced me that the first transaction will be refunded within 24 hours.

Keeping the story short, the refund didn’t come even after 3 days and I have to return to the AEON customer service in 1U to file a refund request that takes up to 14 days. This causes back and forth with the staff and was given a rude treatment at the AEON second floor counter as if I were the one trying to cheat the transaction and unwilling to receive any feedback from eWallet users like us.

I urge everyone that download this app be cautious, as this app has created more problem than solving one. The system feels like a half baked system and the staff are not well trained to utilize the system at Point-of-Sales.
