for Boost App
Review: I’ve been using Boost for about a year already. And for the time being, I haven’t encountered any problems. Yet. I usually topup my wallet thru online banking cause it’s more efficient and trusted. But I’ve just added my debit card recently cause I wanted to complete my mission. And I’ve been using Boost anywhere that this payment method is accepted cause I want the cash back. Just a reminder, the cash back isn’t that much, sometimes you’re unlucky you get only 20sen but rather that nothing. I did transfer out my money from wallet to my bank and it worked well. It needs an IC verification (same as BigPay) and I waited for 2 days for the verification process and 2 more days for the transaction process. Basically in 4 days, then my money from wallet got transferred to my bank account.Recommendation: To Boost, I recommend that you create a prepaid MasterCard that connected to user’s account just like BigPay so that instead of paying online, users get to pay with card thru MasterCard payment too.Comment: All in all, I’m satisfied. But I really hope that Boost will come up with a MasterCard. And most importantly, I would love to continue using Boost.

I had a recent transaction problem with boost. The cause of the error might be due to poor network connection at the petrol station due to rain (petrol station uses satellite, hence connection problem with rain). Long story short, I spent a good 40 mins at the petrol station, called the boost terminal helpdesk, which turned out to be a separate entity from Boost app, hence, my problem couldn’t get resolved anyhow.I had to report back directly to Boost, which operated purely on emails and social media. Nevertheless, I had a good experience with the support team and how my problem was handled. I got my refund without much fuss. Good job to the team for proving that customers’ journey work a long way.

I have been using boost for about one year. I love this app before. It is easy and convenience to use. But since the latest update on end of oct2019, my boost app alwas counter a problem. It always hang when i open one tab. Waited for a while but still the same. I have uninstall and install the app many times. I did restart my phone a lot of time too. But the problem didn’t resolve. Please check this. About the mission, i activate the unifi mission expecting it include the unifi mobile payment mission. I did read the term and condition but it doesn’t state clearly there. When make payment for my unifi mobile bill, i didn’t get any reward. Already ask thru chat desk. It is saying that unifi mobile is not include to get the reward mission. I also activate celcom bill payment mission. I activate on 5nov 8.06am. Make payment on 8.07am just a minute after activated the mission. It does not show i completed the mission nor do i get the mission reward.If these problems happen again in the future, i don’t think i would continue using this app anymore.

They told me that I’m winner of the RM8888 in order to to redeem the prize I need to provide my credit card details. So my question is where do they get my info and know that I’m user of Boost? :) (btw my dad also a boost user and got call from different number but same content as well)—————old review—————-When I wanted to cash out from the app it demands me to take both front and back of my IC. ?? Yea I know is for security purpose but there’s plenty way to verify. Sorry you can’t ask for user’s IC through an APP this is extremely dangerous. It mentions that this app upholds highest level of integrity by abiding to the Personal Data Protection Act , you see they can write whatever they want. How would I know if they(employees) sell user’s information (with the front and back of IC)to third party? There’s no way to trace. Be careful not to be Penny wise and Pound foolish.
