INSERT TO-DATE BILLING DURATION (BY PERCENTAGE) AGAINST TO-DATE CUMMULATIVE BILLING AMOUNT

Currently a page in the online bill shows a horizontal chart of the percentage of cumulative usage amount to-date against Budget set by the User.

This is not fully helpful to the User bcoz he cannot readily see at a point in time if he’s going to exceed the Budget he has set (unless he works out himself the number of days already passed in the bill month-range e.g. 17/3 to 16/4 and he’s at 1/4 …. 16 days i.e. ~ 52% of the billing period. I think this is against the whole idea of you having the customer-friendly online bill.)

Let’s assume you did have a chart of Duration of Days by percentage of the Billing Period Range (BPR), together with and inline with the cumulative usage to-date graph, the User can know to-date consumption rate and control the usage in the coming days of the BPR.

Simply for example, on 1st April, the User’s Duration of Days of the BPR is 52% as shown, and the cumulative usage is 50% say, then he’s at the budgeted trend (using straight-line forecast). If he’s cumulative usage is already 80% on 1st Apr, then he’s tentatively going to bust his budget.

If you do not include the chart of Duration of Days by percentage of the BPR, it is not readily assisting your Customers in their decision to manage Usage Cost.

Slow reflect for online transfer payment

I initiated a online payment transfer from Maybank and from my bank the amount had been deducted but in the apps when I press “History” it didn’t reflect my payment history.

FAQ : need 1-3 days to reflect...super not effective as a consumer who need to take records for further reporting need to come back to this Apps again just to download the statement as supporting evidence. “Time is precious and since you guy (TNB) remain still as monopoly in Malaysia electricity business market, so no competitor, no stress and no need further innovation is it? Even Telcos able to response fast according to the current market demand but you guys still stay at where you started. Steady and sloowwww 💪☝️🤭

Enhancement needed

Like the features where I can see monthly bill charges in a chart and it’s easy to pay with the quick pay button. Previously I had issue retrieving old bills because it would always show the latest bill but I think this issue was fixed already. Although there were adjustments made to some of my bills (spotbill), I still see the old charges displayed in the chart on the dashboard which I hope this can be fixed so it captures only the actual amount I was charged for the months. And the amount due for current bill still captures the amount due for previous bill. So I had to adjust the amount due manually then proceed with payment.
