Description
AED Locations will quickly locate the nearest AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) in New Zealand to your current iPhone location.
AED owners have contributed their locations to this New Zealand wide database with the hope of saving lives in their communities. This application allows you to have these life saving locations available on your iPhone wherever you go.
Use the application to plan ahead or have the data at your finger tips when needed most.
AED Locations features:
• Display the AEDs nearest to your current location using your iPhone GPS
• Search for AEDs
• Browse the AED locations by swiping the map
• Click an AED icon to get locations details and contact information
• Easily report information updates and problems
• Location information is stored by the application and is always available (it does not require network access)

Great app, hope I never have to use it though!
It would be good if it was mandatory for locations to add their hours though.
Thanks for the colour coding for opening hours
Thanks for the app, appreciate the green to signal it’s in an open/24:7 shop. We had to use it tonight. The only issue was the shop didn’t know what we were asking for and we left empty handed. We called them later to discuss and they promised to do better and educate their staff.
Disappointed
Sits there “processing updates” well every minute of time you waste getting a aed, the patient looses a 10% chance of living. Ambulance has got a better chance to get here before I get to a defibrillator -regardless off my location. Can you build this app differently maybe so it works, as fast as possible? If it where a real life situation then my patient is still dead, has a 10% chance of survival now still having cpr performed, and I cant tell where a defibrillator is...
