Why is the food so unhealthy, old and boring at the Napier koru lounge. I travel there a lot and pretty much every single time there is the same Thai pumpkin soup ( this time watered down , usually quite nice but gees has the chef got any other strings to their bow ? ) Apart from the same old soup , there is some polenta chips gross and same old savouries out of a box . Move along to the crackers and cheese , same cheese selection and Brie is always dark yellow around the edges , obviously been out too long. People are more adventurous then this anyway , why not try a blue cheese? When I go to Christchurch koru , the food is drop dead amazing , there’s more then one hot selection and it’s usually tasty , spicy and relatively healthy conscious. Why is the standard do different ? Also why is there never any bacon at Wellington koru in the mornings ? Bring back bacon

Updated review 21 Jan 2023…app speed and reliability did improve significantly after I’d emailed Air NZ digital app development team and GM Loyalty several times, however in last 2-3 weeks it’s again become unreliable - updating this review because it’s constantly crashing again “Error. Service is unavailable at the moment. Please try again later”….and the Retry button does nothing! Still needs work team!!!

Unfortunately the latest update (Nov 2022) is buggy - elite frequent flyer with many bookings as travel every week. App can take up to 30secs to open, and frequently crashes. Have sent feedback and screen recordings to cust service who were helpful but unable to give timeline for fix. No update nearly 3 weeks later….Testing process has clearly failed badly here and is frankly completely unacceptable!!! App appearance is improved altho shortcut to scroll thru summary of bookings (useful for frequent flyers with many bookings) seems to have been removed. App still takes a long time to refresh when updating bookings or after checking in using app - very slow to load boarding pass. This is unchanged from previous version. Hopefully your experience may be better!

The new version doesn’t support Apple Wallet for boarding passes, despite displaying the option to add to wallet.
The web-app base is slow and buggy when compared to the native app, and displays an ancient UI with a new coat of paint in the main menu.
Unfortunately, the new update also makes it slower and harder to navigate multiple bookings, as scrolling through different flights is now a two-tap interaction rather than a simple swipe left or right. This slows down the process considerably, when you have >5 flights booked at a time.
The opening time is drastically worse with the update, which means getting to a boarding pass has gone from a quick side-button tap to open Wallet to a 45 second process to open the app, wait for it to load, select a specific flight instead of automatically showing the next one, and finally opening the boarding pass.
Simple things like boarding passes and loading times are critical for users, but this update has harmed these metrics.
