Needs to be improvement
This app needs more improvement to be an effective budgeting tool. It would be good to be able to add some customised categories and or subcategories.
It doesn’t pick up bills paid by direct deposit into another account.
Annoying notifications every time I spend saying spending is above my typical. Find this a bit unhelpful. As I’ve set targets it would be more helpful to get a notification that tells me when I am nearing my target.
Very poor app - don't try it unless you want to get frustrated!
Update :
Why does the developer not acknowledge issues identified and made no attempt to rectify them? Many users have given negative reviews.... Whatever happened to customer satisfaction?
Changed account types and this app doesn't pick up my 'new' accounts. Unable to change. Support from within the app doesn't work. Obviously Westpac have a lot to do re their own technology upskilling. Come on Westpac you make enough money out of your customers, at least give them something worthwhile back!!!
Update: I uninstalled this app months ago and decided to try again. Nothing has changed. Westpac One is working well so I'm not prepared to remove it. Developer's comment that everything is reset on removal is wrong. As mentioned in May it still picks up an account I closed in January and now none of my current accounts are picked up. If I could give zero stars I would. Have removed app and will never try again.
Doesn’t really work, but kind of promising
If I open the app today it takes me to my normal banking app where I have to log in, that then takes me to the App Store, I can then open the already downloaded app and it will sometimes work, but I often have to close it down and do the whole process twice before it opens.
Once it does open it’s pretty good. Gives you a good idea of where funds are going. The categories are decent and cover all main options. The ability to mark payments as a category is good but doesn’t always work.
Lots of bugs in this app which is annoying. Also annoying the link to the app for contacting devs re issues/bugs takes you to a 404 webpage. At this rate that is expected.
