Description
The MyPay mobile app is a payroll application for employees of organisations who use Datacom’s Datapay payroll software to pay their staff.
MyPay provides a range of functions and information to employees that are pay related. It requires the organisation to have enabled Employee Self Service and you use the same login details as you would when you login to the Employee Self Service portal.
Datacom develops payroll software for Australian and New Zealand organisations. Datacom’s payroll software is cloud based and continually being improved. Every time an organisation logs into Datacom’s system, they access the latest version.

Display the pay packet type (Reverse, Adjust, Advance) and the period end date which the transaction relates to.

Getting worse
Still a handy app, but the solution to issues with dark mode is…don’t allow dark mode. Really? And the latest update that did this seems to have removed the ability to view leave balances as well.
It’s not a sure friendly App.
I haven’t been able to login for a long time now due to apparently my login was registered to another device, which is BS. Then they manage to send me a link and it finally work for a couple of weeks then the same issue happens. I lost faith. Then couples of weeks ago I change to a new iPhone then I ask our payroll admin here at work to contact Datacom to resolve this issue. Apparently Datacom confirmed to her that I should’ve received an email from them that has a reset link so I can use the app again, guess what? I haven’t received anything at all. -_- Issues after issues on this app.
Dark Mode Issues
The app is unable to show date range or what number you are typing when the phone is in dark mode. In the app everything works on black on white. But my phone is set up with dark mode giving white on black. So when going into the app, it somehow confuses itself and throws out white on white. So, basically I can’t see what I am doing. I figured this out recently, but I like the dark mode and can’t keep switching my phone to light mode everyone I use the app. It’s a simple fix which I believe should be done immediately.
