Gaspy 17+

Great app for finding the cheapest fuel, which is a blessing with the ridiculously high fuel prices! I’m sure we are all thankful for that 😊

Only criticism is the app is terribly ugly & could be more user friendly. Definitely needs a much cleaner & simpler layout, the colour scheme doesn’t work at all. Which also contributes to not being as user friendly.

With a bit of a make over and a good colour scheme & a tidy up it would be a really good app!

Great app! But Gaspies please note => Some Gull Petrol Station pump prices are 4 CENTS CHEAPER than SHOWN ON THE BOARD!!

Which is frustrating. On the app it says “ENTER PUMP PRICES ONLY” and people are driving past our local station Gull Wingate (Lower Hutt) and entering the wrong fuel prices!

Please check the Pump Prices at Gull Stations and if it is 4 cents cheaper on the pump just minus 4 cents off the Board Price when you drive past next time - this will keep everyone Happy :)

Gaspy - if something could be mentioned on the app for Gull Stations like Gull Wingate to warn users that pump prices are 4 cents cheaper and to give some kind of alert when they go to enter the fuel price?

Loving the Gaspy Gold as when I get a price change alert for Gull Wingate if someone enters the board price I simply change it back to the pump price :)

I virtually never allow apps to use my location. Most have a search function that lets me decide what I want to do. So after I’d registered, when Gaspy asked me if it could access location I said no. That gave me an error message telling me I had to allow notifications that wouldn’t go away. I had to back out of Gaspy. I did that and tried to go back in. The error message was still there. Start again I thought.

I deleted the app and then reloaded it. I clicked on it to use it and it asked me to register once more. I tried to but got told that my email address had already been registered. No surprise there... but there was no login option. Sigh.

I guess I’m now begrudgingly prepared to give it access but I can’t log in ...

How about some better ‘what if’ thinking during the programming folks ... and since a friend tells me I just have to have this app what fix or workaround can you offer?
