Useable, but could be better

I am using this app on my iPad Pro for conducting the banking in behalf of a not-for-profit community organisation. I choose to use the app whenever I can for the benefit of conducting banking on the go in a secure and convenient means. Overall it is useable but has the following issues:
- it may just be me, but the ‘share’ button on the transaction receipt screen consistently locks the application, causing it to crash every time.
- there is no ability to export the transaction history from the app, or search by any field other than dollar amount range.
- after saving payees, the payees selection page displays the list only by the description of the payee; therefore if you have multiple payees with the same description e.g. committee member (in-line with the app’s recommendation - ‘builder’) it is impossible to work out who you are selecting.

- With regard to the receipt freeze - this will be fixed in our next release scheduled to start on 9 October
- While we have no immediate plans to cater for the exporting of transactions from the app we are always reviewing our options. This function is available within internet banking.
- With respect to other transaction search options (particularly by keyword) - this has been a long standing gap in the app, one that we are disappointed has not yet been addressed. We're working on this, however we can't give a definite time frame yet.
- Thanks for the feedback regarding payee name/description...we'll look at how that could be improved.

Poor search engine and tricky to gain access regularly....

Whilst I am keen to support KBNZ as an NZ owned bank(moved from ASB a number of years ago), I have two problems with this app, plus the KBNZ website. Poor search engine, unable to search via name of company or person. Also I regularly receive the message, whoops there appears to be a problem with mobile banking currently! Both of the above I find frustrating and have seriously considered reverting back to ASB just for a decent search engine. I remain with KBNZ because it is an NZ owned bank.

The most common reason for receiving the "whoops..." message is that the app may not be set up to use mobile data. Map Doesn't Show All Branches

This is generally a good app, except that the "find a branch" map doesn't work properly. The map shows only corporate Kiwibank locations (those owned & run by Kiwibank) and omits agency sites (bookshops, chemists, etc). Since most locations offering over-the-counter banking are agencies this is very unhelpful from the customer's perspective. The equivalent function on the Kiwibank website does list agency locations, but not on a map so its hard to figure out which is closest. I have raised this problem with Kiwibank previously and it has not been fixed.

Update: Following a fast response from the developer acknowledging the problem and agreeing to fix it, I have updated this review and the rating accordingly. Thank you for being so responsive!
