Pretty good but room for improvement.

This app is pretty good... but there seems to be a few features which just don’t make a lot of sense.
Eg. In order to change notifications etc, or to stop it “honking” as the notification noise (also a weird design choice), you must enter your password. Which I don’t remember, so I guess I’m stuck with it weirdly notifying me / having to have my phone on mute all day.

Also things like having to swipe to pay by credit card now. Unless this is an apple forced thing (I don’t think it is), it’s just annoying. Like let me click pay and that’s it. It’s like a choice where it’s been put in because it makes it seem “flash” but in reality it just seems silly and makes the app feel tacky.

Easiest way to pay, but room for improvement

Generally I much prefer to use this app to pay for parking, but there are a few annoyances: biggest is that topping up does not allow me to use the credit card information stored on my phone (I do _not_ want to save it in the app) and although it tries to be convenient in scanning the credit card using the phone camera, my credit card has a a layout that is perhaps unusual. The other annoyance is that I can’t extend the parking (not start/stop), although possibly that is driven by decisions outside of the developers. Last annoyance is that there are too many screens to tap through when purchasing parking.

The cost of convenience

Incredibly handy app making paid parking in my home town easy as. I particularly like the ability to pay for the period you use rather than having to commit to fixed periods. But the top up commission is very high and that’s just not fair. The major beneficiary of this app is the council charging for parking - many of us would wing it for short term stops. The other thing I don’t like is the end of time honking - this happens even when your phone is on silent. Not good in a movie theatre - not good full stop.
