Room for improvement

I’ve like to see an auto set up where you can just top up, “set and forget” I’m a regular Parker on the same street, same time, set days of the week so if I could set a weeks worth of parking at a time them I’d be less likely to forget. Currently I’ve had 2x parking tickets because I’ve just forgotten about it at the time of parking when I’ve been rushing into work with hands full of things. frustrating because I have already topped up my account, just forgot to activate the parking on the day.

Also I loathe the honking horn and the end of the day, it automatically goes off at 6pm and the parking time restrictions end at 6pm so no one cares if I’m there longer or not. Would LOVE to be able to turn that feature off permanently (I’m aware I can turn it off each time I activate a parking day but seriously it’s annoying)

Dysfunctional app

When booking long-stay parking it only gives a few preselected options of 2/3/4/5 days; weekly and monthly. It would be easier if you could just select the exact number of days required; especially as there is no way to simply extend a current time. You have to start again to buy parking time, (which again means your options are limited to 2/3/4/5 days, weekly and monthly).
Then it sends a reminder 24 hours before expiry; and again after it has expired which is beyond useless. Because if you try to extend a weekly stay before the end of the week it charges you from the moment of the new payment; not the expiry time of the current parking, so you either end up paying twice for the same period or you have to time the purchase of more time to just before the current time period runs out, and risk a parking fine if you happen to be out of cell coverage or busy at the time.
Then you can only “top up” your account with a minimum of $10 when I only needed to pay $6 for one additional day, and I do not live in an area where this system operates (thankfully!!!) so I have just wasted $4.77 with bank fees. And at least three hours of trying to figure out how to actually pay for only one additional day, and for the right car park as there is no easy way to identify this, like a name or a number at the car park entrance and pay station. (Which was “out of order” as a way to force people to use this dysfunctional app.)

Pretty good but room for improvement.

This app is pretty good... but there seems to be a few features which just don’t make a lot of sense.
Eg. In order to change notifications etc, or to stop it “honking” as the notification noise (also a weird design choice), you must enter your password. Which I don’t remember, so I guess I’m stuck with it weirdly notifying me / having to have my phone on mute all day.

Also things like having to swipe to pay by credit card now. Unless this is an apple forced thing (I don’t think it is), it’s just annoying. Like let me click pay and that’s it. It’s like a choice where it’s been put in because it makes it seem “flash” but in reality it just seems silly and makes the app feel tacky.
