Give us a timeline to fix this mess

Sky, with all the other reviews that I have now read after experiencing my own frustrating downloading and viewing problems, I can’t understand why this continues to go on. Since the new app was launched it has been a disaster yet the fixes have not come and we all continue to pay sky subscriptions.
It is not right that you continue to take subscription fees but do not provide the service, in fact the service has gone backwards as evidenced by the hundreds of reviews here.
I would have thought it would’ve been high priority for your team to have this sorted as soon as possible, but with no communication about possible improvements that actually work, 1.1& 1.2 have not improved things!!!!!! it seems that it’s not a priority for you and you are in fact relying on loyalty that is fast running out.
At least keep people up-to-date with how you are going to fix this cluster, and by when, and consider offering a discount or refund to those of us who want to watch but now can’t! - or are you so arrogant to think you won’t loose customers?
Since when is backwards service an acceptable business practice?

Fix it! Please?

Seriously I thought it might just be me ... but from other reviews I see others have same constant hang / not load issues. New UI was good but awful awful stability. Makes it unuseable a lot of the time. It’s like some small IT company not huge corporate like sky. Jeez! 2 weeks later and it’s the same. Basically it occasionally works. Then suddenly it won’t open ... a lovely blue screen for a while and then app closes (on an iPad). Netflix, tv3, TVNZ all work largely perfectly ... sky it really is rubbish. If only someone else had sport! Give a timeline to fix? Have the screen do something to show it’s loading (if it is), have it reset if issues ... really it’s app dev 101.

My review here from last time. Another month gone by. The only way to “fix” the hang issue is to delete the app and reinstall. Does the developers performance depend on number of downloads 😂 - as I must have done 20 times …

I just want to watch the shows I’m paying for!

Having been a customer for over 18 years plus, this new app is a complete let down and I want the old one back! At least I could watch my shows I had on my watch list, in this app they dont even appear till over a 2 weeks later or at all.
I dont get time to sit down and watch TV on demand on the sky decoder, the only time I get to watch is on my iPad when doing other things but this is getting ridiculous, on demand is no longer available and adding to your watch list is just a reminder of what shows you like… nothing steams for you to catch up and in some instances is over 3 weeks late! Sort it out or bring back the old app where we could at least watch our saved shows… which is what we pay a ridiculous amount of money for.
Very disappointed and ready to cancel my entire subscription.

We are so sorry to hear about the poor experience which you are having. We have changed the way in which content is presented within the app, so "On Demand" is now re-named as "Browse". There are various filter and sort options in this screen, including the option to filter by your subscription.
We are always looking for ways to make using Sky Go easier for our Customers, and adding labels for shows with new episodes is just one of the things which the team are currently looking at.
You'll find that we have amended the Content pages so that all seasons of a Show are now visible in the same place, and the "Continue Watching" logic remembers where you left off.
