SKY TV GUIDE 4+

This is the number one app for people who like logging in to apps. Sky know their market and have worked hard to make it possible for us to enter our login details every time we want to use remote record. The opportunity to constantly log in is the only reason I keep coming back to this app - all of the other features pale in comparison. Good work Sky, and pleas don’t stop putting your customers’ needs first!

I use the app a lot to book, especially if I’m away from home and I love it. However search based on a keyword produces a confusing list of results. It is useful that results are split into some categories et cetera, but the number in the category header does not match the actual results under it. The number is often greater than the listed results and you are left wondering where the rest of the results are. Also, sometimes the search cannot find results for your keyword even though you know for a fact there is something containing that word in Sky programming on tv set. Lastly, I would love to be able to filter the results as well, for example by live broadcast.

Agree HAS BEEN good app for many years for remote recording. While app upgrade apparently coming (see recent review) you can scroll through programmes in TV Guide .. maybe ‘Favorites’ ... (without logging in) to find day & time for recording ... easier than in “My Account App”, but by logging in to MAA you can access “TV Guide” for remote recording, which is much clumsier than TVG, but does work. Heads up .. I do not work for SKY NZ from whom communication is abysmal .. except for email surveys asking me to tell them how bad they are :( Maybe SKY should just read reviews of TV Guide & SKYGO apps and then fix them according to that feedback. Hey ... and put out info when an app is not working, rather than telling people one by one after left hand catches up with what SKY right hand is doing.
