TSB Bank Ltd Mobile Banking 4+

I love the quick balances option as I’m a student so I’m not completely confident with how much is in my account right before I pay, I think the app needs something like ANZ has with their app where you have the option to use 3D touch to see your balances from the widget on iPhone 6s onwards. Also because I, and many others, have to keep such a close eye on funds and spending, something similar to Westpac’s CashNav would be very helpful. I love TSB Bank, but these small perks for me although are small, would make me consider changing banks just because of the small stess removed. On another note unrelated to the app, ANZ’s MyPhoto card for free would be ever so amazing for TSB to have. Just another thing that I and others close to me would really prefer to have with TSB. Might change banks because of these listed perks though. Also Touch ID!!!! Just some ideas.

I like TSB's two factor authentication and the app does what it needs to do for a bank app however to be a great bank app some development is needed: The screens could be simplified as they are somewhat busy with no relevant stuff. The important information should stand out more. The typing of dollar amounts is tedious with the decimals having to be typed as well, allow the user to type dollars and cents only if necessary by using a comma.

The app doesn’t let me see pending payments when I use payWave or make online purchases like Kiwibank does. I love TSB bank but I think the app needs to be updated and as the same level as other banks.
I feel TSB is still quite old school in terms of banking. A lot of stuff are done online and easy access.
Authentication of new payments should have other options to authorise like security questions because my phone is sometimes not on me and is a hassle having to either call in or transfer to my Kiwibank then send my funds via kiwibank.
