Great for padala, but needs improvements for people onboarded online fully

Palawan has great reach as I have used its padala services to send money to the province. I think among ewallets, this is a great differentiator especially since a lot of remain unbanked and financing other ewallets rack up a ton of fees for the sender and receiver. However, the app is quite hard to use if you are a user who was fully onboarded online. I am not aware of the fees and there is no indicator of it before you reach the final step of the padala process. It only says “applicable” or something like that. The ewallet’s account number is also hard to confirm. GCash uses the 09 format and being the ewallet leader right now, a lot of people might think that most ewallets would work like this. PalawanPay uses the 639 format and that should be clearly indicated somewhere, especially in the help center. I think there’s vagueness in how it’s presented in the profile page. The profile is also a bit hard to find, where most apps put it in the rightmost tab on the bottom menu.I think these could be improved easily. I hope they continue to improve as Palawan has great potential in the Philippines.

I even contacted their customer support and was really helpful for giving steps on how to manage the problem yet it doesn’t solve it. You try to turn off your phone, same three things happen. You uninstall and install it again, same three things happen. Even placed this app on automatic update and still it doesn’t solve the problem. Does it ever get to your attention for the developers about this problem? Or your just sitting around waiting for your wages? Just hope the bosses could see this kind of reviews because its for the betterment of the app. Just a simple check of balance and i cannot do it because the app wont open.

QRPH not available to all stores- BE AWARE

I had a terrible experience with QRPH. It happened in May 2023, but as of December 2023, there has been no improvement. The resolution of the problem has been incredibly slow, which frustrates me every time I'm informed that it will be coordinated with the store where I scanned, only to be told at the store to follow up with PalawanPay. Though they had a great customer service personnel I personally disappointed with the app just saying. I will not use again the QR features not unless it will be ok in the future. Thank you.

My phone is iPhone 6S+ and I can’t update to your latest iOS version and icant open my Palawan App, hoping we cant still use this app even we stay on our 15.7.8 version, I really love this app and im using and trusting this app for almost a year, but i have no choice but to stop using this because of this update issue! Hoping you can fix this! Thanks
