App registration deleted my portal account

I tried logging in to this app using my portal account. I followed the instructions on how I can access the app, but I wasn’t able to complete it due to errors in the app. After some time, I received an SMS saying “We would like to inform you that your My Sun Life PH online account registration request in draft mode has been autodeleted due to inactivity”. Surprisingly, that process deleted my account. My web portal account that I have been using for four years! How did I confirm that it was deleted? I cannot log in to the web application, and it says “unable to retrieve profile”. So the next thing I did was to try to register using the same email I used before, and it went in! Why would you delete my account if my registration to the app didn’t work? This app is very stupid and frustrating.

Ive been losing my patience in using this app. Actually, I had no issues with the old app but this current app really s*cks. For almost 2 months, whenever I try to finish my registration, it always ends up with an error. I tried to refresh page several times but nothing happened. Last April, I sent an email to your client care but they said that this is an ongoing issue and they are trying to fix this as soon as possible. Up until now, NOTHING HAPPENED. I actually visited the local branch here in our province to report this concern hoping for a solution but they insisted to contact the customer service. I tried again. I tried again by sending an email and hoping for the second time to fix the issue but until now, NO REPLY. Please. If and only if, revert to the old app.

Horrible Update

This new app si really horrible, time consuming, and stressful. I can’t get pass thru the OTP verification as I don’t receive OTP at all. If I try to reset my password, OTP works, but logging in doesn’t. I’ve been using the old app which works perfectly and convenient on paying. I am not sure but are you guys downgrading?? Now, my payment is delayed as I cannot access the app. There are other payment channels they said, but how about my access?? My plan? The website just mirrors the one in the app which I also cannot log in. I see most reviews are the same as mine and those are months ago already, and still, not fixed. They are also not responsive in email and even after several follow ups, no response. Really stressful.

This app is honestly one of the most frustrating ones I’ve ever used. It keeps asking for OTPs every single time — for almost everything! It feels like I’m stuck in an endless loop of verification codes just to access basic features. It’s tiring and unnecessary.What makes it worse is that even after giving all your details and setting up your profile, it feels completely pointless. The app doesn’t even use the information properly, and you end up having to type or verify the same things again and again.I expected convenience, but instead I got pure inconvenience. The whole experience feels poorly thought out and not user-friendly at all. Definitely disappointing.
