Top up your EZ-Link
The top up function has arrived on iOS. Conveniently top up your EZ-Link cards, charms or wearables anytime and anywhere!

Auto Top-up service:
Register for auto top-up and enable automatic top-ups for your EZ-Link with instant approvals. Skip the queues and always have sufficient value for your transactions! There are no convenience fees!

EZ-Link Rewards:
Every $0.10 spent on your EZ-Link (including our Wallet) earns you points that go towards exciting rewards spanning across various categories.

Card blocking:
Report the loss of your EZ-Link to prevent any fraudulent transactions!

Check transactions:
Get a detailed breakdown of your EZ-Link transactions and track your expenses efficiently.

EZ-Link Motoring service:

EZ-Link app can only be supported by iOS version 12 and above.

Problems

I have been using this app very long time but today when I try to top up EZ-Link card I got frustrated with the app. Keep on loading, cannot scan, cannot make payment. I keep on retry and still timeout every time. Changed network to try both wifi and 5G data still the same problems happened. Really bad

Unnecessary Permissions and Forced Ads

Upon opening the app, the ezlink app requests for local network permissions which as far as I can tell is unnecessary for an app to top-up and track a PUBLIC TRANSPORT card/account’s transactions. I can only assume this is to track users’ every movement and for fingerprinting Wi-Fi networks; such a thing is not necessary for any other purpose I can think of, even security. We’ve had enough privacy invasions and surveillance from ERP2.0 and broken TraceTogether promises. Also, the app requires you to sign up and provide your email to ‘receive exciting promotions and rewards’, in order to use the app. There is no checkbox to uncheck. On the other hand, other stored-value apps just require you to tap the card via NFC to check the balance, no registration or forced ads required. Stop supporting 1984-style forced surveillance, tracking and advertisements. Don’t use this app. I will continue to use the manual booths at MRT stations and use a non-SimplyGo card.

Paylah not working

I have been using this app for a long time without problem. However, last Thursday early morning (9 Aug 2023), I topped up my card with Paylah for $10. It’s deducted from Paylah but not reflected on the card. I wrote emails, feedback and even called them when there was no reply. The customer service asked me to email a picture of the Paylah transaction. Today is Monday evening (14 Aug). I didn’t receive any email or answer from them. The amount still not refunded or at least reflected on the card… Looking at the comments by others, I guess this has been happening quite frequently. If this is an ongoing issue or cannot be resolved within a month or two, just remove Paylah top up before more people encountering this problem.
