The Child Check-in app allows your volunteers to wirelessly check-in your church's children at services and events. You can print labels to a bluetooth or wifi label printer. And it's fully integrated with ShelbyNEXT ChMS too. You can choose the group to check each child into, add new children and families, and edit the notes that print on the badges.

I've never dealt with a piece of software as awful as this one. No matter what we try, it just randomly stops working. None of our printers will show up on the network, even though I can see the printers and print from every other app on my device. This app never gets updated, and shelby's support is nonexistant. Every sunday has turned into a nightmare because of Shelby. It is like the makers of this app invented it to destroy Christianity. Do not use this if you value your church or your sanity!

Anytime iOS or the app updates, the app never works properly. I always have to uninstall the app and reinstall to get it to work after an update. It’s very frustrating and the app isn’t reliable. After the most recent update in Dec 2025, I can’t get the app to work at all, so we were left with no check in system this morning.

Frustrated Check in Worker
Everything was working great last Sunday, and suddenly this Sunday, you type in a name and NOTHING come up! This is extremely frustrating, especially as the line out the door and no one can check in!

Everything was working great last Sunday, and suddenly this Sunday, you type in a name and NOTHING come up! This is extremely frustrating, especially as the line out the door and no one can check in!

This release includes important bug fixes and improvements: 1. Resolved an issue with badge note printing to ensure accurate and reliable output. 2. Fixed a problem where check-in station rules were not being properly enforced.
