Nice. Reliable and perfectly timed along with some other dry cleaning items in through LaundryHeap—- and return it within a day or two. The drawbacks getting acquainted with the service is that the dirty laundry must be bagged in the blue bags provided and tagged, with your name and order number. Plus, it must be brought out to the driver for the pickup— this part is really what drives either giving a tip or not. It would be nicer surely, if they went up to the apartment to bring it downstairs to load it into their vehicle. And vice-versa bringing the clean laundry to me from downstairs … it’s still self-service in ways too. And having to wait on the drivers in the cold loading and unloading the bagged laundry—well it’s a chore too. Sometimes however appreciated the great lengths the drivers go through is tough enough and everyone deserves credit of course for the work they do. But, it’s an expense. No doorman or concierge in a condo here, yet still a great service provider for laundry when I cannot make it over into Brooklyn to have it done by the regular Laundry Servicers I love the most. Great though— on short notice and the turnaround times nonetheless is really spot-on.

I’ve used the service for a month now. First time was great, but I later noticed the et charged me over $110 for what I thought was two loads- and they charged that almost every time. On about 5 occasions they have not picked up or delivered the day the promised- missing by a few days. St first u was impressed the app says they can pick up and deliver the same day. They can’t. You are lucky if you get it the next day. One driver said it was a wrong address for pickup, but it wasn’t- they had picked up several times and did it try to call or come back when I get a message and contacted. For returns they just push it back until it suits them with no urgency. Still it’s convenient, and easier than trying another app right now, but I plan to. No problem with the laundry itself… just pick up and delivery and communication . They really do not seem to care, and but there app notifies you when the driver is near, which he wasn’t when he missed the pick up and said the wrong address was in the system, that. Worked before fine and was still correct.

This service is wildly overpriced, they take three days to process larger items like comforters, they practically force you to tip—(I ended up paying $33 dollars just for pickup and delivery) and the delivery wasn’t even correct! I’m missing at least one bag of my items and the support team hasn’t been expeditious in their response to my inquiries regarding my horrible experience. Laundry services are a modern marvel if you can find one that actually cleans your items well, charges a fair price and completes the job in a reasonable time frame. Unfortunately, this unicorn of a laundry valet has yet to prove it exists. Although Laundryheap got my items the cleanest of Poplin and Rinse—it was by far the most expensive, took the longest and as I said—lost some of my items. Poplin is affordable and has a relatively quick turnaround but their “pros” are regular people doing side hustles. Sometimes you get a good one, other times you get someone who burns your $200 mattress pad in the dryer and returns the rest of your items damp. Rinse was my first foray into valet laundry. It’s also very hit or miss, very overpriced and very limiting. We had a premium monthly subscription for $280 that only allowed us to send four bags in total a month! We’re a large household. We need to wash four bags every week and a half or so. This is why I recommend, if you’re anything like me and my household of people and small pets—Poplin is the lesser of the evils for now. Or make the time to do the laundry yourself 😢

I’m really disappointed in the service I’ve received from this company. The first time placing an order i was a hit with an extremely high bill which okay cool now i know not to book here again. So i then cancelled the plan i had and for some reason the app still generated another order for me for the following week. I tried to cancel but customer service took forever to get back to me and by the time i saw that an order was placed the driver was already on the way. I decided to take the L and let them wash my things yet again. 4 minutes from when the driver was supposed to be there they cancelled my order. Smh at this point i had the laundry outside my office suite already in which anyone passing by could just take and i had already left to a customer call. This was very inconvenient. Next thing you know my order was never dropped off to me the next day and without refund they are telling me i can go pick it up from the wash facility?? I am very busy so i had no time to do so before they closed and here i am another day without my things. Without a refund and they never issues me a new driver for today so i am expected to go get my own stuff with a full day of clients ahead of me and no sheets. This is a garbage app. -10/10 do NOT recommend
