To start off, I’ve completely fallen in love with FOREO and FAQ products. I think the way they have their products inside to give you the best resource is really cool concept. The products are worth every penny spent on itself is really attentive to the needs and concerns of their consumers and anytime an issue has come up. He seems to work hard to rectify it quickly to ensure a happy customer base Not right there speaks volume just on its own about this company as a whole. Great app, Great products, and Great customer service. 5 stars for me.

Why. Just why do I need an app to use a hairbrush? Bad on me for not realizing before purchasing, I guess. So here’s how it went: I ordered the brush online and charged it when it arrived, which I expected to do since it’s an LED brush. Went to use it and realized you cannot turn on the LED function for the first time without “activating” it. This requires you to download an app, create an account on the app, select the Foreo device you own, and “register” it. Then you must answer a questionnaire about hair type, skin type, age, etc. I entered BS answers for this. ONLY THEN can you turn on the LEDs on the brush. The app has nothing to do with the brush’s function, it’s just a blatant information and personal data grab. I am deleting this garbage app, opting out of all communications from Foreo, and will never ever buy another Foreo product again. This is insane.

I don’t know which to blame — the app or the device. I’ve had trouble a couple of times registering one of my devices. It kept telling me that the serial number I entered was not valid. It turns out that what I took to be the serial number, wasn’t. don’t know what THAT is, but the much longer barcode on the bottom part of the label on the box is the corrrct one. Once I got that sorted out, I was able to register the device. Also, some of the instructions for some of the devices are not very clear at all as to how you’re supposed to use it. But I finally got it figured out.

It is incomprehensible to me for this manufacturer to think that it is reasonable for me to have to open an app and watch a freaking ad to use a device that I spent several hundred dollars on. When this horrible app crashes in the middle of a device session and I have to open the app back up to try to reconnect it again and I get stuck watching an ad I cannot fully convert how much makes me want to throw my Foreo bear directly into the trash. I would have never bought my device if I’d known this and will certainly switch to a different one sooner rather than later because the user experience STINKS. Captive audiences don’t stay that way forever so maybe reconsider the forced ads.
