Fantastic primary bank option, solid no frills app

ZYNLO has quickly become my primary bank. It's nice to earn some interest on whatever funds I have in my checking account although I try to keep that small. The adjacent savings account and money market account don't yield quite as much as a couple other savings accounts I have, but are a close third, and transferring money to and from other banks is easy. The app design doesn't have fancy graphics and animations and advertising, which is good - it works for accomplishing banking needs easily. Also no hoops to jump through to avoid a monthly fee. The only thing that I miss is Zelle support, which does not exist currently. I do have another bank account I can use for that, so it's not the biggest deal.Overall a great value and clean functional app!

Was told I could receive a wire, checked with customer service two separate times before having said wire sent to my account, wire never posted. Called and emailed customer service for days, finally saw wire was rejected after being held for multiple days. Then my account is locked and they’re asking for excessive documentation about a transaction that didn’t even post. Constantly locking my account and having to wait for a non responsive “operations department” to reach back out to me before this wire issue , haven’t heard anything from this department in over two weeks. I’ve left 5 voice mails. Emailed, am told I need to call. My direct deposit was finally notified of being rejected today. I just left a voicemail telling them to close my account (if it wasn’t done already). Beware of using Zynlo, they will over scrutinize even the most basic of transaction and it’s almost impossible to just do normal basic banking transactions. Customer service is horrible, and I don’t say that lightly. Stick with any other banking service. I have reported both Zynlo and people’s bank with the bbb cfpb occ ftc etc. 15 complaints total. Zilch - no response at all. Shame on this company.

I was very cautious about diving into the digital only banking, but so far everything has been easy and convenient and the higher than average rates pay out as advertised. I’m not one to write reviews usually but I’m hoping this bank sticks around so I wanted to share my experience. 10/10 would recommend. (For reference, I’m only using their money market service at the moment so my opinion is based mostly on that service and not the other services.)

I’m not one to write reviews usually but I’m hoping this bank sticks around so I wanted to share my experience. 10/10 would recommend. (For reference, I’m only using their money market service at the moment so my opinion is based mostly on that service and not the other services.)

Worst banking experience ever

I switched to Zynlo less than a year ago for their savings APY. I’ve experienced nothing but regret since making that decision. They don’t use Plaid, they have chronic issues with the app, customer service is wonderful when you’re signing up and then dismissive once they have you as a customer, transaction posting timelines are inconsistent and unreliable, and the worst part of all is the Allpoint ATMs. One of them stole cash from me and neither company will even try to help. They both just blame other entities. Zynlo can’t contact Allpoint or see any data from them when the ATM steals cash and doesn’t log the transaction. Allpoint says to talk to the bank. Then they blame the business where the machine is housed for not sending someone to unlock the machine. This happened in a Target. Target can’t do anything. They house the machine and nothing more. 4% apy is great, but definitely not worth the never ending stress this company has caused me. I am going back to my credit union.
