How co-parents sign in to the app has been updated (on-boarding) so that it's easier to connect with their co-parent. We've also updated our support for the "liquid design" from Apple so that the interface is easily readable. Version enforcement has also been implemented to ensure that co-parents are communicating on the most recent version to enhace user experience!

New flow for on-boarding that will help parents login, connect and communicate with their co-parent easier. Plus, several bugs were fixed that were inhibiting messages from being sent and viewed in the chat.

The Communication Report inside the Peaceful CoParenting Messenger app shows text messages between co-parents and also photos and documents sent between both parties. This new version of the app fixed a bug that was affecting the images inside the Communication Report. The Report also shows highlighted messages as 'offensive' or flagged 'important' depending on the user and how he/she marked these messages inside the chat. This new version also allows co-parents longer authorization for messaging inside the app before needing to reauthorize.

A fix has been implemented to address message scrolling. Also, we needed to make some adjustments to how the app connects to iOS photo permissions. We add in other small improvements to co-parent chats, limitations to communication and fixes.

We’re updating the app to address a few bugs that popped up after our last update. The last update was a big change for the app, adding in the ‘Kindness Filter,’ upgrading our backend database and refreshing the look and feel of the app for a better user experience. Thank you for your patience as we grow the app and push to improve! As always, the app is focused on allowing each co-parent to set communication boundaries around how much their co-parent can message them. Canned messages are semi-customizable so that you can still get co-parenting business done with your co-parent but they are unable to send you any open, long messages. For example, one of the canned messages we added to this version is: “I would like to pick up [name] at [time] from [map] on [date], then drop off at [map] at [time] on [date], do you agree?” This message helps co-parents communicate about the children’s parenting time exchange but doesn’t allow anything else to be said. Sometimes co-parents block each other from sending messages inside the app. With this latest update, the app documents who blocked whom with the date and time it occurred. When co-parents are using their Communication Report (which shows all the messages they have sent to each other) in court or for other purposes, this document will now clearly show who has shut-off communication and the date and time it occurred. Some co-parents have a court-order to communicate with each other, and/or a legal agreement that states when and how they need to communicate with each other. When one co-parent blocks the other co-parent, this can significantly disrupt their communication flow about the children. Now, co-parents have the ability to further showcase what is happening with their flow of communication and prove it with a tamper-proof and unalterable record of communication. Stay peaceful!

More fixes around inviting process and other improvements.

This version includes some fixes to the process of inviting your co-parent to communicate with you through Peaceful CoParenting Messenger. We also added some back-end analytics to ensure the communication settings between co-parents are working effectively. Communication settings include limiting the number of messages per day, setting a waiting period between messages and limiting the length of messages.

This update adds new canned messages for users. This comes from one user who needed to be able to communicate better with his co-parent and he asked that we add these canned messages to the mix. Updates for this version include: We've added an "Emergency Contact" for each user so that co-parents can always be notified by a trusted person when there is an emergency even if they have limited communications with their co-parent. Also, we have perfected push notifications so that users are notified quickly and correctly when they have a new message. Messages show a time stamp when they're sent and also show when the message was seen by their co-parent. Stay Peaceful!
