The Lexus Integrated Dashcam App allows you to connect to your Lexus Integrated Dashcam to manage your device settings and download your video content. - Wireless Video File Download - Settings Management - Software Updates Wireless Video File Transfer Easily download your video files from any of the folders on your Lexus Integrated Dashcam to your smart phone using Wi-Fi. Once saved to your phone, you can easily transfer or share your files. It is important to download and save a copy of any important footage as soon as it is safe to do so to prevent it being overwritten. Protected Files may still be overwritten by newer protected files if the memory card is full. Note: Your video is only transferred from your camera directly to your phone and is not stored or backed up on the cloud by this service. Detailed Owner’s Manual Use the app to view the detailed owner’s manual for detailed help with the features of your Lexus Integrated Dashcam. Note: Review the in-app Owner’s Manual for all features and functions. New GX550 owner. Would love to be able to download and share videos with others. Not available in the app. In fact, downloading videos is quite slow and files aren’t accessible outside of the app without pulling the SD card from the camera and using a PC to read the card. App is clunky and it’s hard to exit a video file once you start playing. No way to edit videos or stitch together 2 minute clips. Disappointing.

0 STARS!I regret buying the Lexus Dashcam. It simply does not work the way it should. In order to even view recordings, I have to disconnect my Apple CarPlay, which is a huge inconvenience. The system is unbearably slow—live view never loads, and most of my files won’t load at all. I can’t just log into the app to check recordings because nothing shows up there. Instead, I’m forced to connect directly to the dashcam, and even then, only a few recordings actually load.For the high price I paid, this is by far the worst money I’ve spent. The product is unreliable, frustrating, and not worth the cost. Lexus should stand behind their product and offer refunds because I would gladly return this dashcam if I could.

Crazy driver & camera NOT CONNECTED

I’ve had a tx500h for about 3 months now. DashCam seemed to be installed properly at first and I haven’t had a reason to check into it again, I have assumed it was working properly. This morning I encountered a crazy driver who was very erratic and driving dangerously and I was glad to have the factory dashcam. Pulled over to view and the app says dashcam not connected. The light is green on the dashcam itself, as it has been all along. I’ve tried all morning to connect, and after a long wait “connecting” it always says not connected! There are no recordings or anything available. Biggest waste of $400 ever. Do not bother! Lexus car app is a joke too. Do yourself a favor and get a BMW. This was my first - and will be my last - Lexus. What a joke.

That makes absolutely no sense if you need to view an incident to show to authorities at the scene. It certainly looks good in the car, but functionality is awful. Called Lexus customer service with no success. Apparently they don’t understand the problem or don’t care. Should be an easy fix for whomever writes the software ON BEHALF OF LEXUS AND TOYOTA!!!!
