Wheel With Me Adapt Fit is the Fitness App for wheelchair users created by Jesi Stracham & Nikki Walsh. Jesi & Nikki were tired of having to piece together workouts from nondisabled trainers, and came together to create a better fitness resource for seated workouts! This app provides customized programs and workouts to help you push past your limits to achieve independence as a wheelchair user. I love this structure! I like knowing the amount of time the exercises will take so I can choose what level I am physically able to do that day. I really like the count down timer with the beeps coming at the last three seconds. That way I don’t have to keep looking at the app to know when to move on. I know I need to stretch, but I often just do the same couple of stretches. This gave me additional stretches to try. I’m excited to try all these cool features!

I really appreciate that the trainers in the videos also use wheelchairs and know exactly what they are doing to truly help those of us in a similar situation as a wheelchair users Just because a trainer has read about how to train someone with a mobility challenge it’s not the same as living it. Jesi & Nikki are rockstars! I tell all of my friends about Wheel with me adapt fit app.

This is an awesome app. I have been waiting for somebody to do a App like this for a wheelchair users I have been permanently in a wheelchair since 2015 and I’ve had to adapt regular workouts to fit me being in a chair and it was so hard to do andVery discouraging. But I have already done one work out with this app and I love it already thank you.

Personally for a while now, I’ve been struggling with transferring from my wheelchair to the bathroom toilet. Seeing videos on how other people, who may have been in a wheelchair longer than I have, makes my life a lot easier, and so much safer, so I’m not falling all over the place, or hitting surfaces of my wheelchair on impact.
