Amazing and Addicting

About the series: I’ve been playing these games (World at War, Colonies at War, and War in Europe) for awhile now and can say that they are amazing! These are well designed and simple, and for history nerds like me is really fun. The fact that it is one developer making these is beyond insane! About this game: Definitely harder than the other in my opinion, alliances can be much tougher to get but also much stronger, and combat is much more complex than the others. Making money is also a little more hard but rewarding in the long run. My only negative (which is really only a personal thing) is that there isn’t an option to start as a neutral country (you are either always in an alliance or start one) Note for the developer: Absolutely amazing that you made these by yourself, amazing job! And I was wondering, War in Europe included WW1, WW2, and some colonial things, and WW2 and the colonial setting got there own games, so is WW1 going to get one? It would be really cool I think, or maybe just some WW1 levels could be added to this game. I understand if not, you probably have some project being worked on and I’m sure that whatever it is will be as amazing as the rest!

I’ve never written a review for an app until now. There wasn’t any game (or app) that piqued my interest enough to ever warrant the effort. World at War has changed that. It’s most reminiscent of EasyTech’s World Conqueror 2, but chock full of minutiae completely absent in the vast majority of risk-like games on the App Store. Among these, the presence of a rudimentary diplomatic system alongside administrative/combat statistics are the most noteworthy. The diplomatic system allows for basic role play, and chaotic fun. You can aid France against Germany by sending them money, or you can hastily ally several neutral countries and watch them fight it out. Unfortunately, actions such as this are largely limited by the use of a credit system—premium currency used to obtain money during a game. This system hinders the player from creating preposterous scenarios without repeatedly spending real money. And while certainly understandable from the perspective of the developer, it becomes grating for any player looking for a more wacky experience. The addition of a premium sandbox mode where alliances can be configured freely would mitigate this issue entirely, and would appeal to the unfathomable amount of people who have been requesting a feature like this on a risk-style game in the App Store for years. (There isn’t a single risk-style game on the App Store that has this feature, including the supposed sandbox WW2 games. It’s bizarre.)

This game is amassing everything it’s simple almost perfect but in the simulation battle for Berlin I noticed that it starts in June 1945 but d-day hadent happend yet d-day happend a year earlier and the soveit front is off you need to have the baltics Bulgaria Bosnia and Croatia be part of Soveits and Romania needs to be free and aligned with the soveits union you also need to make it to where France is a country with all there land back but they need to have a small amount of troops with alleid troops from britan and USA be on there front lines and you need to add Norway to be apart of Germany so in total Germany should only have starting German lands except Prussia they need to have Latvia to be the konisbrug pocket and it should have max forts with elite troops in it and Germany should have NT Italy and Denmark plus Norway. I’m sorry if this seems really critical and mean but i don’t really know how to put it another way and I really suggest this game for anyone who wants hoi4 but can’t have it this game is truly amazing and adds a revolutionary way of iOS gameplay I hope you will fix this soon

Are you working on or plan on doing a modern day version of this game? I think that would be awesome and offer a really solid end point in your series. Fix bug stopping Germany from attacking in v15.8 Fixed a bug misplacing partisans in the wrong land. Fix starting conditions for Europe1941 scenario, balancing starting forces. Britain now payable. Added a Home Guard army for major countries. This will help bolster the their home defence. Added a auto resupply for Elite AI Armies. Delayed the trigger for the FarEastForces to arrive, its now 20 lands taken. Other bug fixes.
