I have tried many Bible apps, even sophisticated, expensive laptop ones, but Life Bible is by far the easiest one I have used to organize notes. I like to take notes when I read, and this system of folders and notes makes it easy to be as detailed or simple as you want. The ability to place a note right alongside the verse is wonderful. It is also great to have the ability to place notes in folders and folders within folders, i.e. a folder on Jesus Christ with sub folders on His birth and early life, His parables, His death and resurrection, etc. Or having a folder for each book of the Bible with separate notes each chapter. The possibilities are endless. It is also nice to be able to highlight or underline verses or portions of verses, or to bookmark verses for placement within folders. Helpful, too, is the ability to insert selected Bible verses within a note. It is nice to be able to sample Bible versions or books before purchasing them. The ability to see all the verses that are highlighted in a certain color is wonderful! I can use a color to highlight verses that speak of the grace of God (or anything else i choose to highlight as i read thru Scripture)and view all those verses in one place. I also have come to appreciate being able to customize the Bible reading plans according to my own schedule. It is one of the few apps I use every day. I have one suggestion: more highlighting colors, and for the underlining option to be just a little thicker since it can be hard to see.

I have used the Tecarta app every day for years and loved being able to switch between different study bibles in one tap. Recently I downloaded the new version and I am not happy that it takes multiple steps to do the same things I did before. Specially I am speaking about having to type hide Bible text every time. It should remember that I am hiding Bible text. Rather than forcing me to say hide Bible text each time I switch versions. For example , let’s day I have the NIV text in the left view and the life application notes on the right view. In the old app, I clicked the gear icon and the could switch to another study guide or commentary while I am studying such as the believers Bible commentary or ESV study Bible and it would switch the right side. Then I could switch back by just clicking the gear icon again and selecting the life application study again. Now I have to click to open a menu, then say replace view, select the content, and then click hide Bible text. This is a lot more steps. A big improvement to the new version would be to remember that I wanted to hide Bible text when I switch back and forth. Another thing is the old app switches both the text on the left side and the notes on the right in one step, for example switch from Niv study Bible to ESV study Bible, both text on the left and notes on the right changed together in the old app. The new version doesn’t do that and should because I am sure many people study with different translations and want to easily switch back and forth when studying a passage. Please consider these tweaks.

The app is very helpful in organizing my notes on sermons, Scriptures and personalized topics such as fear, obedience, faith etc and it offers many translations but there’s one thing about the app that they have changed that I don’t like. I love to send my verse notes to people who are in need of spiritual support. The app used to let me send my verse notes directly to people through text message or email and they could easily see and read my verse notes, but now when I send a verse note - the recipient can only receive my notes by first downloading the "life Bible app" then going back to my text and agreeing to import my verse note into their app. I had a friend contact me because she was confused about the process of receiving my verse note - she couldn’t see or read the verse note without going through this inconvenient process In my opinion this is an improper way to advertise the app. But when I share a Bible verse - the recipient can read the verse directly from the text message - and there’s an attachment where can get the app attached to the verse - this is how they should structure the app to send verse notes too. The app is wonderfully organized and easy to use - I tell everyone about it and I encourage them to get it - but this new system of sharing a verse note with a friend was and is a bad idea. Sharing God’s Word with those in need is very important to me

I’ve had the Tecarta Bible app for over seven years and it has been a consistent, convenient and accurate resource for Bibles study Bibles devotionals, commentaries and I believe concordances. Recently, Tecarta upgraded their app with a smooth transition and more features and along with those features were provided a tutorial. Some of the features that I enjoy are the automatic scroll, being able to scroll fast or slower, being able to listen to the Bible in different voices male-female or with theatrical music and sound effects in the background. In addition to that, Tecarta offers Bible reading plans. I don’t want to forget to mention several color highlighters plus setting options from voice speed to side-by-side translations. I can go on and on about this application. Finally I want to say that all Bible resources are offered at a free 7 day trial and Tecarta is never pushy or forces me into making purchases but I have made a few purchases because I was able to do it on my terms and at my convenience. I enjoy the new resources and I would have never known about some of them or even brought them were it not for the trial periods. I give five stars and rave reviews for this app! I see myself using this app for many more years to come!
