A Friendly Research Center Where Everyone Is Kind And Caring

Everyone is very nice and friendly at Velocity Clinical Research. They all are very respectful of me as a patient & study’s participant, show a real interest in my and my wellbeing.I especially like the way Dr. Overcash took plenty of time at my screening visit to get to know me, and learn about my medical history (which is somewhat complex). At my next visit he brought to my attention a lab value that didn’t disqualify me from the study, but he wanted me to know about it & be able to follow up with my own physician. Whenever I have met with him, he has always shown that he genuinely cares about me, my health and whether I am having any problems or new symptoms from the study vaccine. I actually look forward to my clinic visits!

Top notch from the moment my appointment was scheduled until i walked out the door. No waiting to find out your results. Approximately 20 minutes after I was finished with my scan, they were showing me my results and explaining what they meant and where to go next!!! Amazing!!! Highly recommend them. If the rest of healthcare was this amazing what awesome would we would live in! Thank you!!!

Money is cool but functions missing

Can’t be too mad since I’m getting paid to use this app but a couple of functions would improve the app’s utility:- Tapping on the location of a study site that I’m registered for should open a link in google/Apple Maps to navigate to the site or at least support copy/paste, doesn’t make sense that I have to manually type it in to navigate to the site- Patient referral function seems to be missing? Might have to do with the new update but I can’t find a space to refer people in-app anymore-More hypothetical but being able to search by condition would be helpful (e.g., find all studies on asthma), would help me know who to refer even if I can’t do it myself

People terrific, app is terrible

Looking at reviews I see folks rating the Velocity staff rather than this app. Yes, those folks are good and work hard. This app is a whole different story. It wants to know which medicines I am taking. Valid considering what they do. I have that in a list on my phone. When I navigate to my list to see the next medicine and its dosage and then come back to this app, it resets to the top of the medicine list each time. Repeatedly. Medicine list is incomplete and will remain incomplete until they fix this. When you have ANY contact with a person on their staff the app will nag incessantly for you to “review” your interactions. Every time. Again and again and again. It only stops when you have contact with them again so it can start nagging you about the most recent contact. I had two nags about the same visit pop up in the time I wrote this review. I will probably not do another study with this company. That has nothing to do with the staff and everything to do with this required app.
