Really like the App. has made scheduling our group of physicians significantly easier and better. However, there is a current glitch. When I go to submit a request for vacation on my iPhone, it kicks back to the main screen. Last week, couldn’t get the app to load on my iPad. I had to delete and reinstall. Good App, However there are a few glitches lately. Maybe a conflict with recent iOS updates? Again, I really like the app and software, would definitely recommend it.

Update: now I’m getting texts AND in app notifications. It is becoming my nightmare app at this point. I’ve tried to adjust ANY notification setting and it is impossible. I could not recommend this app less. I shouldn’t have to put in a help ticket for something that should controlled by the user, like receiving CONSTANT notifications. Even less intuitive with every update I’ve gotten. A truly difficult app to use. The constant notifications, the inability to remove/isolate important vs unnecessary messages(like call being open vs someone else dropped a shift). Navigating the app is neither intuitive nor clear. I can’t complain more about how poor my experience is with QGenda. I don’t want to integrate my personal and work calendar either for “ease of use,” they’re separate for a reason. I just want to see my schedule, sign up for call with a single notification letting me know, and be able to request off all with ease. Not possible here.

Poor functionality

The QGenda program itself is likely a fine program. The app, however, lack significant functionality. Basically all that can be done with the app is to view the current schedule on call. Significant lack of functionality includes the ability to change call on the fly. As providers using this app, there are times when a provider will get sick and we have to immediately make a trade. That is not possible to do in the app. This can be done with the desktop version of the program, however cannot be done in the app. We previously used a different program which had much more functionality within the app. I was able to also download my on-call calendar to my phone through the app which cannot be done with huge Qgenda either. It would be helpful if the app had more functionality.

Had to reset my password the other day and when I signed in, I couldn’t find the only thing that makes sense on this app, the monthly calendar of just my shifts. I played with it for several minutes then ended up calling tech support. The guy was no help at all and sounded generally very annoyed that I was bothering him. Finally I told him “never mind, I’ll figure it out myself.” I signed out and then signed back in and there it was. So maybe tell your support agents about this little trick.Generally a poorly functioning app. I lost my pto because unlike the software we used before, qgenda does not show which coworkers have already selected a particular day. I believe that most of the positive reviews are from people who are happy not to have to bother with scheduling anymore, but whose lives aren’t impacted by this nonsense.
