Apparently, wasn’t told that if you join in July 2025. It doesn’t carry over to July 2026. It ends on January 2026. Was very angry and swore the F word in the two calls. Second call the gal laughed because like I said why wasn’t I told that? She thought I was laughing but I wasn’t. Medical records show, I’ve been bleeding and other medical issues, still ended my $200 feet this January 2026

I was told by customer service on Friday Jan 2nd (2026) that there was an issue with the app that IT was working on and to check on Monday for the issue to be fixed. Every time I try to login to the app it tells me “there was an issue authenticating my account information”. I am using my Health Safe ID to login like I do for everything else having to do with my insurance so I know that isn’t the issue. I also see from other recent reviews (some from over the weekend) that others HAVE been using this app successfully!!! I feel like customer service basically lied to me when they said the app was down and being worked on. I have lost MULTIPLE days of tracking my health rewards due to this!! If someone doesn’t get this working for me today, I’m going to file a grievance with my company.***Update***Jan 8th- I was able to FINALLY get into the app on Monday afternoon but as others have mentioned, Stride will not sync with my IPhone health app/Apple Watch so literally every day, I’m missing out on premium discounts!!! Yall really need to get this fixed ASAP!!

After a year this app continues to suffer from poor performance and poor support. The beginning of year version that was supposed to be just a name update broke syncing of steps with the iPhone health app. The latest update seems to have restored syncing, but now Face ID no longer works for authentication on login. Face ID has been problematic all year, with it not being available at all for the first 6 months and then only working sporadically after that. Now it seems to have completely disappeared. I have 10 times more issues with Optum Engage than any other app. It is definitely the worst app on my phone by far. I would not recommend this app to any company benefits department. The support requires sending an email and waiting for up to 5 days according to the company documentation, which is the longest support timeline I have ever seen for any product. The “incentives” are never anything I am interested in.

I had to install this app to start the new year (2026) and ran headlong into a number of issues. The first was having to use the website - NOT the app itself- to register. Filling the the health assessment locked up the first time through and required a force quit. The good news there was it DID have all my responses so I could continue where I left off. The ongoing issues are that, in spite of several days meeting Stride and other walking goals the app does not register the information. Several days later, I see partial data loads from 3-4 days ago, that didn’t correctly load Saturday. Now, over a week into the year the app meets expectations by correctly updating tracking with current values (such as meeting 10K step targets). Manually reported info IS logged (example: Get outside). Another issue is having to tap to sign into the app using Face ID. The UX standard for most apps when this is enabled is to check automatically on launch. This would save time when checking my progress- when it actually gets logged.
