Alaska Mobile ID Verifier by Thales is an official app for businesses and organizations to authenticate an Alaska Mobile ID for proof of identity or age.
Businesses or organizations can download the Alaska Mobile ID Verifier app to their supported smart device, and quickly launch it to verify an individual using an Alaska Mobile ID. The individual will launch their Alaska Mobile ID app and display a QR code on their smart device. When the business scans that QR code, using the Alaska Mobile ID Verifier app, the digital verification process will authenticate the information and display the results on the Verifier app screen in mere seconds. There are two verification options in the verifier app:
• Credential Verification for requesting all the information on the Alaska Mobile ID after user consent (for e.g., law enforcement or rental car agencies)
• Age Verification for requesting only the photo and the age indicator on the Alaska Mobile ID after user consent (for e.g., bars or casinos)
