As a mom of young children I’m past the typical postpartum period. My little ones are mostly sleeping through the night and I’m far past middle of the night feedings. I would have loved this resource during that time in my motherhood journey, however even now I often find myself waking in the night feeling anxious. I’ll hear an out of place noise or have a bad dream. Or even sometimes find myself up too late unable to fall asleep. I came across this suggested app and my eyes filled with tears. What a gift to realize that you aren’t alone. So many mothers up in the middle of the night for various reasons. That knowledge is a comfort and a little motivation to keep going. You aren’t alone.

I downloaded this app after seeing it on TikTok. I struggle with postpartum depression and a big part of it is the nights where I feel lonely. In my head I would convince myself that I was the only person in the world that was awake and struggling - but boy, was I wrong. In the night I am up either feeding my son or pumping, always sleep deprived. This all has allowed me to see I am in fact not alone. I am able to see other moms around the world that are also awake when I am. It also allows me to send and receive virtual hugs from them and words of encouragement. This app is a game changer when it comes to postpartum and feeling less lonely - and helping others feel less lonely as well.

I’ve had this app for a little over a week now. It’s helped so much during the late nights when things feel heavy. It’s comforting to see all the other moms that are up too. Also the messages of encouragement are really uplifting when I’m trying to soothe my fussy baby to sleep. The only complaint I have is that a chunk of the app is locked behind a paywall and that’s hard as a new mom struggling financially. The free features still make it worth it though and I understand needing to make a living wage. Thanks for making nights a little brighter.

I have been struggling lately and just being able to see all of the other parents awake during the middle of the night has been so encouraging to me. I don’t feel so alone when I see how many other people are taking care of their babies when I am. The sense of community has been amazing and I’ve only had the app for a couple of days. Sometimes it’s just the small things like that that really make me feel less lonely. I highly recommend to anyone with a baby to download this app.
