HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
There are two ways to get 98point6: via a Personal Plan or a Sponsored Plan.

Personal Plans subscriptions come at an introductory rate of $30 for the first 3 months, with unlimited access to on-demand care for just $1 per visit. When that initial period ends, you have the option to enroll in an annual plan for only $120 per year + $1 per visit. (Please note, only one patient per account. You must be 18+ to create an account and seek care; 19+ in Nebraska.)

Some employers, health plans and retailers provide access to 98point6 at no charge and offer visits at low/no cost to eligible members and their dependents ages 1+. To see if you're eligible, please check with your plan sponsor.

WHAT DOES MY PERSONAL PLAN SUBSCRIPTION COVER?
Your 98point6 Personal Plan provides you access to our board-certified physicians who offer consultation, diagnosis and treatment. Insurance is not required for your visits. Patients are responsible for any outside-of-app costs, including prescriptions, labs and visits to an in-person physician, if referred.

WHO ARE YOUR DOCTORS?
Our virtual clinic is staffed by carefully selected, board-certified physicians who are passionate about making care more accessible and affordable. They are specially trained to treat and diagnose via text-based care. (98point6 supports photo, video and audio as needed.)

WHAT CAN YOU TREAT?
Our board-certified physicians are available on-demand to diagnose and treat, answer questions, offer peace of mind and when it matters, guide you towards the most appropriate next steps. If your issue does require in-person care, you can be sure you’re on the right path to feeling better after consulting with a 98point6 physician.

WHAT IS YOUR PRESCRIPTION POLICY?

Our physicians adhere to evidence-based standards with respect to the responsible use of antibiotics. If we are unable to prescribe a medication, it’s likely due to a combination of factors, including state and federal regulations related to virtual care practices, as well as what’s in the best interest of your safety and well-being.

Note: 98point6 is not for medical emergencies.

Helpful Easy Service

Given the current circumstances, I really didn’t want to go into my primary care office for a check up. It was a small issue, and my sister had just tried this app, so I gave it a shot too. Info took a few minutes to input but I didn’t feel they were asking for ‘too much’.

I requested an appointment, was paired with a doctor in my state, and was told my insurance would fully cover the visit. Quickly, I was in a chat room with a professional. The doctor I got was amazing and answered all my questions easily. I could tell she was putting thought into her answers and not just copy/pasting some sort of script into the chat. She asked me a few questions, and gave me her professional opinion, like at a regular office.

This is a really helpful service not only for people during a pandemic, but people who have agoraphobia or physical disabilities that make it difficult to leave the house. You’d obviously need to go somewhere if you broke a bone or needed bloodwork or something, but this for colds and questions like mine (mainly medication detox symptom worries, lol) is just so convenient. Way easier than trying to make an appointment with my normal doctor for the same thing.

Super convenient, makes getting help easy!

I have used this service multiple times for a variety of things (stomach flu, foot pain, random questions) and each time I am amazed by how easy it is to use! I absolutely hate going to the doctor for things I think are trivial or that I’m just going to be asked to make another appointment next week to “check back in” and waste another 3 hours of my life, so 98point6 has been a great solution for me to actually get in touch with a doctor (and limit anxiety doing so!). Now the “check back in” part of getting care, if I’m not feeling better, takes 15 minutes, not half my day. Never once has a 98point6 doctor I’ve talked to made me feel silly for asking a question or not knowing information, and each time I learn something that I never have time to ask my actual doctor about in our annual 10 minute check in. Overall 11/10, would recommend. I tell all my friends to use this whenever they are sick at home or not feeling well at work, seriously try it out.

Simple and Awesome

I don’t have insurance so $20 for a year is an unbelievable deal!! I’ve been sick for over a week and after doing a ton of research online and trying to find the best service for the best price I landed here. Within an hour I’ve already spoken to a doctor and got the meds I need. And to have the peace of mind to know that I can just pop on here any time in the next 12 months is truly priceless for someone on a tight budget with no insurance! I cannot thank the people who came up with this idea enough. Honestly, even the post-first-year price of $120/year is a deal. That’s only $10/month to see a doc anytime. I think I’ll be sticking with this app for the long haul. Once I’m no longer sick I’m looking forward to trying it for things like my birth control and getting back on thyroid meds. Thank you all so much!
