Doesn’t find my NAS

I tried this app again after a year or so but I find it as a useless app again.
Unable to connect to my server using IP address; it says it couldn’t find my server on my network, while I can connect and login in Safari.
Years ago, it worked fine in Safari but of course you had to screw it up and come up with you useless app which it seems you are not capable to develop properly. Since certain update of ADM it cannot scale properly on iPad screen in Safari so it is impossible to control the adm GUI.
Conclusion: I am unable to control my nas from within mobile devices. Your iOS app is useless since the beginning. I am considering to upgrade my nas hardware because it getting aged but it won’t be asustor brand.
Update my response to your response : When I bought my AS202TE years ago AMD worked fine with iPad 3 in Safari. The upgrade from 2.xxx to 3.xxx ruined that and since then it doesn’t work in Safari. Why you didn’t fix that? Because you decided to come up with your pathetic AiMaster which you are not capable of properly to develop. Stop the B.S. talking and rewrite the screen so it will work in Safari again. Who needs your c.r.a.p.p.y AiMaster? I don’t, for instance, need you claud relaying which I don’t trust the security in the first place. If I want to access my nas from outside I can do it through my vpn/ ddns which works fine, but I want to be able to control my nas from within Safari or any mobile browser and you are avoiding to fix the problem.

Hello, Paulkosm,
New AiMaster with more feature and UI are ongoing now. We will keep adding features in AiMaster. ADM GUI is not flexible for mobile/iPad web browsers. We will find better solution to improve the UX to using ADM directly in mobile phones or iPad. About IP address connection, do your phone/iPad using Wi-fi to connect NAS ? If you using mobile network, IP cannot be accessible since they are located in different LAN. You can try to setup cloudID to connect NAS. Please help to try, or you can use "Contact support" to get help from support team checking the connection issue. Please email stanleyhsu@asustor.com if further problems and suggestions. Thanks a lot.

Doesn’t find my NAS

Doesn’t find my asustor NAS. The automatic scan finds nothing. Entering either the network name or the IP address just causes an endless spinning “loading”. Fortunately, the Windows app and web interfaces work fine. Come on asustor, you tout the iPhone apps on your website, but based on reviews here, obviously there’s a big problem you don’t care about fixing.

Developer Response ,

Hello,
Could you help to check if you allow AiMaster to access Local network (in Settings) ? Or you can remove the App first, and then re-install it. While 1st time to search the NAS, it will prompt the message for you to check if you will grant the permission for AiMaster to access Local Network, with the permission, the search cannot work properly. Please email to stanleyhsu@asustor.com if any further problems. Thanks a lot.

Inconsistent reliability

iOS 13.3.1 has broken this app for over a week. iPhone 11 Pro Max, two newest gen iPads in both the 11 and 12.9” models have the same issue when connecting to NAS via app, app hangs and freezes when you select NAS at log in screen.

Developer Response ,

Hello,
Thanks for feedback.
Sorry that we cannot reproduce the issue you mentioned here, and we didn't get other users feedback for this similar issues. Since all your iPhone and iPads got same problem, it may be caused by NAS settings or network. Could you help to contact stanleyhsu@asustor.com to provide more information for our checking ?
1. NAS models with ADM version ?
2. Connection via mobile network or wi-fi ?
3. Screenshot of the hangs screen you mentioned.
4. testing account for our remote connection if needed.
5. Or please use "contact support" to open ticket for support team further checking.
Thanks a lot.
