AprivaPay Plus makes credit card transactions easy—whether storefront or mobile. This streamlined app enables merchants to accept mobile payments and process transactions right from an iOS device.

The AprivaPay Plus app turns your iOS device into a mobile point of sale, allowing you to process card-based payments, as well as record cash-based sales. Set sales tax rates and tipping right in the app, and leverage bar codes and images to create specific inventory groups to expedite sales.

AprivaPay Plus is one of the first EMV-enabled and -capable mPOS solutions to be released in the U.S., offering chip card transaction support* and EMV payment acceptance for merchants aiming to avoid liability when responsibility for card payment fraud shifts from consumers to merchants on October 1, 2015.

Mobile card acceptance has never been more affordable. (Supports 10 active devices per account.) Add an optional portable credit card reader, and your iOS device instantly becomes a highly functional mobile point of sale for a fraction of the cost of a traditional wireless terminal.

In most cases, you can use your existing payment processing provider. If you don’t accept cards today, or want to shop around, choose from hundreds of AprivaPay Plus partners to find the one that best fits your needs.

Apriva is the leading provider of end-to-end wireless transaction technology and offers the most proven and secure platform for wireless information transfer available. AprivaPay Plus exceeds industry standard encryption and security requirements.

Apriva provides 24/7 technical support for resellers and merchants. We're here to give you the support you need to be successful.

Before you can begin mobile payment processing with AprivaPay Plus, you’ll need to set up a merchant account (if you don’t already have one), so that your bank can fund your transactions. Once you have a merchant account, it’s easy to get started. Here’s what you’ll need:

1. iOS device with Internet access
2. Merchant account (new or existing)
3. AprivaPay Plus app
4. EMV chip card reader (optional)

* Contact Apriva for information on supported payment processing platforms for EMV capability and peripheral compatibility.

Was great — now only ok

I loved this app until recent update took Face ID away. Now it’s a pain because I have go get my password before I can use it. Not helpful when trying to run a business. Please give Face ID back to iPhone users!!!!

Bugs in this app

Well, I got my new card reader & while it works on my iphone 5 there are issues that even tech support hasn't been able to resolve.

When trying to input a dollar amount for a sale you have to swipe the bottom tab upward to open the keyboard to type it in. For some reason the tab at the bottom doesn't show up most of the time so there is no way to swipe it.

This, in my opinion is a fatal flaw. If you can't access the keyboard to key in the total amount for a sale you cannot process the sale.

This needs to be fixed...ASAP!!!!

I might have to go back to using my Pay Pal card reader

Bad update

This was a 5star app until the recent update. It's not convenient anymore. I work in the beauty industry and find this app horrible now. It used to give me the total of my tip and tax separately. It would be broken down daily and weekly and monthly for me but now since the update, it doesn't do that. You can go into the back office of the app (which takes forever to load if the you are using the iPad for payments) and check your total but it does not break it down for you. Now I have to sit there with a calculator and do it myself. What a waste of time. I'm afraid I have to go back to Square because Square made it much more convenient to use.
